@Betamax_ftw@silentclipping_ Emily has always displayed her license plate, and she doesn't care about it because there's nothing you can really do with it.
@55kuffyy@NeverclipsonX She can't do much to it beforehand, because her TikTok comments have been off for nearly two months, and all her other videos are just drama about her, so I think this was her only opportunity to get good publicity. It worked last time.
@VaderEve@silentclipping_ They don't realise she's actually afraid of dogs, so she would never buy one anyway because even when a friendly dog approaches her, she doesn't react to it.
@S40295@Azrael907@Awk20000@extraemilyy Quick fact: a fan actually sent it to her PO box; she never actually bought it, it was a gift, so she wasn't really in the market to buy one.
@RioMendoza1014@ThorDKidd So you're just going to be racist, right? Because you do realise most Asian people share similar features. You are very racist; you have nothing better to say. That’s just being racist.
@Marble_RacerTTV@snsdfan000@whatevr60@TheDadspective@Awk20000 Yeah, and another issue is that many say Nick essentially made her career because, technically, much of her viewership came from him. She probably built a good career, but I don't actually watch her because I’m not really into her style. I think she copies a lot from Emily.
@MrVictoryxrp@MendezLyliana I'm not sure who knows, but it's ultimately up to her. She did look happy to be back, but now she's taking a few days off to hang out with friends. We haven't received any updates about whether there will be any live streams on this.
She was literally a professor; she was hand-picked for this role last time, so it seems like no one really cares. Why are you giving out? It does not affect your life if other people enjoy watching her, and she is one of the biggest female creators on Twitch. So your argument is pointless.
@JonnyTsunamii@tipnin@PlasmaWave42@Awk20000 They probably have, and she probably agrees in the future, but in the end, it turns out she didn't want to, and maybe he didn't want to for a long time. However, he then realised he was getting older and wanted children.
Emily’s community handles this really well. On her Discord, fans are regularly reminded of the routine: a quick photo, a short chat, maybe a gift, then leave her to continue streaming. They know the etiquette and generally respect it.
The problem is the rare bad actors who don’t follow it, creating real safety concerns. Respectful streamsnipe moments like this are great when done right.
It’s funny to think about. Emily started streaming purely out of boredom during COVID. She never saw it as a career. She had a full-time job at Citibank and just went live on a whim one random day.
If she hadn’t taken that spontaneous step, we probably wouldn’t have the Emily we know today. Unlike many creators who actively chase streaming fame, it was just a hobby that grew into something much bigger. One small moment really changed everything.
@Suburbbabydaily@StreamersEra Emily has never collaborated with Ray. When he reached out, she was on a mental health break and wasn’t actively engaging with others.
Neither. I’ve only watched Emily occasionally and don’t consider myself a fan. I value accuracy. When misleading clips or unproven claims spread, I share the facts as many others do. The more people see balanced context, the clearer it becomes that much of the criticism relies on incomplete or distorted information
Emily is very smart. She graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Financial Engineering, was top of her class, and received Magna Cum Laude honours.
She used the mind palace technique to memorise a large number of pi digits a legitimate advanced memory method. She got straight A’s throughout school (lowest grade was a B) and scored extremely high on the SATs..
This clip is misleading and taken out of context. Emily was talking about being a perfectionist and feeling less confident when giving advice compared to some friends who are naturally eloquent in those situations.
She was reflecting on her own struggles with that, not saying she is not smart overall. She graduated from Columbia University in Financial Engineering and was top of her class. Misrepresenting her words like this is unfair.
It doesn’t really matter. Emily completed a solid 8-day trip with no days off, driving most of it and streaming nearly 8 hours every single day.
Her community is happy with the content she delivered. While some may wish she had gone further west, what she did was already a strong effort. Not every trip has to cover the entire country to be worthwhile.
This page constantly misleads by posting short, out-of-context clips. If you had watched the full stream yesterday, you would have seen this was part of a much longer conversation with a proper backstory.
The clip didn’t come out of nowhere. They never show the full context just the parts that fit their narrative.
