@finnlau_cd "I need to address inaccurate reporting about bamboo scaffolding in the Hong Kong Tai Po fire"
The bamboo AND the bindings are still there because the riggers know what they're doing. If they didn't, generations of them would've already died in collapsed scaffold disasters
@tukangbangsa@finnlau_cd Bits of the netting that were on fire blew across, then light other netting on fire. Also windows are blocked off with highly flammable styrofoam.
@Heccles94 Energy bills are high because of green levy. Government mandated expensive energy. You know nothing about the energy sector and how much government is wasting on renewable home improvements. Billion spent, million homes ruined by unqualified Muslims installers.
Germany Cancels Christmas โ Safety Costs Too High for Comfort
Once upon a time, Germanyโs Christmas markets were the heart of the season โ mulled wine, roasted almonds, laughter, and a sense of peace. Now, theyโre becoming a luxury item in the age of โdiversity.โ
According to officials, the reason isnโt lack of interest or bad weather โ itโs security costs. Yes, you read that right. The country that once built cathedrals and Christmas traditions for the world now canโt afford to protect its own markets from the โnew realitiesโ of modern Europe.
After the terror attacks in Berlin and Magdeburg, regulations tightened. Concrete barriers, surveillance systems, and private security have driven expenses into the millions. For many organizers โ especially private ones โ the burden is simply too high. Some are shutting down altogether.
So, here we are: centuries-old traditions โ gone, or behind metal fences โ while the same political class that created this mess lectures the public on โtolerance.โ
The Christmas market, once a symbol of community and joy, has become a crime scene waiting to happen โ not because Germans changed, but because their leaders did.
Germany isnโt losing Christmas because of inflation. Itโs losing it because of cowardice โ and because defending your own culture has somehow become controversial.
