Michael O’Sullivan Supreme
I can only give 3 any chance of winning this. Kopek Des Bordes, Romeo Coolio & Workahead. I think it will be closer than the prices suggest but hopefully the jolly gets us off to a good start. I think he’ll drift on the day and he won’t be odds on. I’ll watch him in the parade ring and going down to the start. If all good I’ll play this one late.

Arkle
Marjborough is many “pro punters” banker of the meeting but at 8/15 he’s too short. L’Eau du Sud is the best jumper in the field, he’s the only course & distance winner and won’t mind the drying ground. I won’t have a single on this race but I do have an ante post ew double going with him 3 places & Romeo Coolio in the 1st. If both place I’ll double my money.

Ultima
A very tough race but I think I’ve found one that is still well handicapped and still has lots of improvement to come. The front running grey King Turgeon. He ran a superb race here back in December, lots went wrong and the brilliant Jack Tudor still managed to get him home in front. Next time he was 3rd, Katate Dori was in 2nd, a short head in front. King Turgeon is now 15lb better off for that short head. Katate currently top 3 in the betting and Kings Turgeon is an 18/1 shot. I’ll be having a decent ew bet on this one. Online bookies will probably be paying 5 or 6 places on the day.

Mares Hurdle
They’ve all got to beat Lossiemouth. If I can get 4/5 I’d have a decent bet…
Although she’s been very disappointing this year and not kicked on from a great start to her career, I’m going to have a small ew play on Dysart Enos at 33/1 although she’ll have to show improvement upped to 2m 4f.

Champion Hurdle
Constitution Hill vs Brighterdaysahead.
You’ll have decided what camp you’re in already.
The lads I’ll be with will be balls deep on Con Hill, I’m still sitting on the fence to what way I’ll swing with this one.

National Hunt Cup
Another big field handicap where Haiti Couleurs must have a good chance. Won here in December beating Transmission. 4th in that race won a decent handicap since. Haiti had a nice prep race over hurdles last month. The eight year old has everything in his favour. Worthy of a decent ew bet at 9/2 5 places.
