Another paper out‼️Our latest work exploring how the brain gradually builds a sense of narrative time from just a handful of episodic cues — even for stories we've never seen before. Now available in Memory & Cognition!

These findings highlight how efficiently the brain can organize sparse information into coherent event timelines, offering new insights into narrative comprehension and episodic memory.

We show that a few episodic fragments presented in chronological order are sufficient to progressively build an accurate temporal representation of an unseen narrative, filling in the gaps between encoded events almost as if the story had been watched in its entirety.
🚨 New Paper Out🚨
Delighted to share our latest paper on how anterior cingulate morphology shapes impulsivity as measured by temporal discounting, now available in Brain Structure and Function.

Excited to shared the last results of our experiment at the International Conference on Cognitive Neuroscience @2025Icon in Porto! Thank you to everyone who stopped by my poster!

We illustrated a higher degree of dimension-specificity within the DMN compared to the FPCN, especially in posterior nodes of the network, compatible with the presence of a functional subdivision for the processing of different types of mnemonic information in the former network.
🚨New paper alter 🚨 Excited to share our latest research on the specialization for different memory dimensions in brain activity evoked by cued recollection, now available in Neuroimage! https://t.co/zT1aNdkTWy

Thank you my italian supervisors (Carlo Sestieri and Giorgia Committeri) for the opportunity to come to New York!
It was a great and exciting experience.
Stay tuned 💪🏻📝
My experience as an incoming PhD at @AdelphiU is over! Beyond the strict implementation for my PhD training, being hosted in her lab, allowed me to learn from one of the most promising researcher on the temporal discounting.
Thank you @karolinalempert for having supervised me✨
During these 8 months, I integrated the skills I gained on the fMRI technique with my previous experience with episodic memory to implement a new ongoing experimental paradigm aimed at the testing the relationship between memory for time and temporal discounting.
Another incredible and memorable experience at the Cognitive Neuroscience Society in Toronto #CNS2024. Thanks to everyone who stopped by my poster!
Stay tuned.. 📑
