My son, whilst doing his work out, shared his day. Mama - thought it was safeguarding - he just looked at me. He’s working as an LSA for nursery and KS1. He did absolutely the right thing - reported immediately- asked no leading questions - supported and felt supported.
.@Asda has announced that between 25th july-3rd September all children under 16 can eat a hot or cold meal for £1 in their cafes. All day/every day nationwide with no minimum adult spend. This is to help parents with the cost of living crisis during the summer holidays
@joeb_EY Bet the wheels on the bus will go round and round - and round - and round - and round 😜. Amazing - just love - what an experience for our young ones
@JayEllePeaElle Totally agree and bless you. I could have powered the National Grid by now - got forced into a medically induced menopause after cancer treatment in early 2013 and still it’s the gift that keeps on giving! Usually up at least 3 times in the night just to let the sheets ‘air’.
@accidentalSBM Mine (well both) know I’m not a ‘sweet’ person, but I know I’m loved when I randomly get a (large) packet of sea salt and black pepper Kettle Crisps 😜
@accidentalSBM @HeathrowAirport@CampAmerica69 And you will. My eldest son went to Montreal to attend the ecole nationale de cirque (after a number of trips here there and everywhere). His graduation, three years later coincided with our 25th wedding anniversary - New York, Canada - it was a blast! X
@accidentalSBM @HeathrowAirport@CampAmerica69 I so know how you feel but I consoled myself with the thought that it was all about giving them wings so, come the time, they could fly. Xxx
@sbl365 I’ve taken off Wednesday. Optimistically booked a whole four weeks during the summer break. The whole of Christmas and if that all works - 10 days left Jan to March - let’s see ..l
@JacindaRevill1 Good fortune and good luck, enjoy your next endeavour. I came into this with a background of much and something - bit of this and bit of that - what a learning curve - have a good time with your next move. Bet you will draw on SBL experiences. X
@joie_nouvelle I’m prepping for tomorrow when I have to present two budget plans - both not exactly buoyant. I feel imposter syndrome - but dare I say - albeit simplistic - need and deployment of staff is operational - therefore not in the strategic remit of governors. Good luck x
