Israel called it 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘳. Hours earlier, Iran had thrown at least four waves of ballistic missiles at Israel and watched Israeli and American interceptors knock them out of the sky. Then came the answer — not symbolic, and not at the border. Israel reached into the heart of Tehran and took the regime’s air power apart on the ground.

The Air Force hit three airfields in the capital — Mehrabad, Bahram, and Azmayesh — destroying 𝐝𝐨𝐳𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 where they sat. Footage out of Tehran showed jets burning in rows on the tarmac.

Mehrabad is not just an airport. The IDF says it serves the 𝐈𝐑𝐆𝐂’𝐬 𝐐𝐮𝐝𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐮𝐛 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐦𝐞’𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐞𝐬 across the region — the same network that arms the rockets fired into northern Israel. Israel didn’t hit a runway. It hit the machine that feeds the war.

And it went straight for the symbols of the regime. Israel says it destroyed 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧’𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 and a large portion of the Revolutionary Guard’s transport fleet — the planes that move the men and the money behind a decade of proxy terror.

All of this unfolded as President Trump pressed both sides toward the negotiating table, warning Tehran that firing missiles 𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 and to come back and make a deal. Jerusalem’s reply was written in jet fuel.

Magnitude estimates diverge sharply: the Philippine agency Phivolcs puts it at 7.0, while GFZ and EMSC estimate 8.1–8.2.

These are preliminary and likely to be reconciled; the figure of "9.0" circulating on social media is not supported by any official agency.

Phivolcs has issued a tsunami warning, with waves "above one meter" possible, and ordered immediate evacuation of coastal areas in at least nine Mindanao provinces.

Casualty and damage figures are not yet verified.

Treat claims of "collapsed buildings" or a "Japan tsunami alert" as unconfirmed until official sources report them for today — similar details often get recycled from past Mindanao quakes.
