There was no prior connection or motive. Håvard died within minutes. The entire attack was captured by security cameras.

The killer’s real name was never made public. He used multiple identities, and Norwegian authorities never released a confirmed full name.

The most disgusting parts:

1. The killer fled, jumped into the sea, and was arrested hours later. He was found psychotic, ruled not criminally responsible, and sentenced only to compulsory psychiatric care.
2. National media and the local community rushed to excuse the “poor misunderstood migrant,” and news of Håvard’s death was quickly buried.
