@Vamp_Gus It’s hard not to feel bad for Ireland and the UK in general man. Less so the UK, because they asked for it, but still I don’t see how they can ever recover their heritage at this point.
@MikeHoffmann Kirkland brand rocks but I’m sorry these have fucking nothing on legitimate lululemon. I have pairs of pants from them that have lasted over a decade, though from my understanding their newer stuff is worse.
@SavosAndSavos I’m with you on this man like while I am somewhat optimistic about the new game, I just can’t help but feel fatigue about how retarded the glorified airsoft teams running around is. We didn’t think it at the time but having true factions mattered a lot.
@MonkeysxMoo35 I’ve read the majority of them and even the few good ones are still strangled to death in the cradle by the surrounding dogshit. It’s time to jettison everything post 3.
@krakencube51@ThrownN82235@Pege12Real Let’s be real the pivot to them sharing a common ancestor is nothing but a relatively recent walking back of their original retcon.
@bryan4208@TheFoxEssence@game_fabricator I think it’s moreso they were simply extending professional courtesy to their peers in the industry. It’s clear after almost two decades though that nobody at 343 is the peer of frankly any working dev in the industry, and is an embarrassment to their trade
@TheRavenHelm@AficionadoTRSTR Most European shit I’ve ever heard. Only you retards would ever think that being called a bad boy by a Very Important organization with zero teeth in the most likely country they live in matters in the slightest.
@Tyson_wd@Unseen_Halo@TheFoxEssence Bungie was always trying to dump Halo, they hated sequels in general. Quite honestly Halo 2 ending with that irony would’ve been controversial but probably cemented the Halo story in gaming history forever.
@hisc_yt The franchise would genuinely be better off if a large portion of the “fanbase” that’s been cultivated since Halo 4 left. That is the unfortunate reality. But it’s clear that the Halo you and those other people shockingly love so much is an utter failure
@SoonerCreative_@Arrrrash You’re going to notice the wheels falling off very quickly. Kilo-5 is generally judged from very good to mediocre, but past that you’re really entering the bad for the most part. The original books were fantastic because they rightfully followed the military sci-fi genre
@JamesonLocke@NakaiCanon I question how you can feel so strongly about just these books in particular and not recognize how you’re basically not even a Halo fan, but really just a fan of Greg Bear. His books, while great, have only tertiary levels of relation to Halo lore pre-343 shenanigans.
@lambeflores@NakaiCanon They’re great books on their own, but should never have been tied to the Halo universe. I don’t think it’s a disservice to Bear’s work to hold that opinion.
@thesonofthemasc@game_fabricator@McKean_enjoyer You’re just fabricating things now. He wasn’t being a coward, Bungie and ex devs have always been professionally courteous to 343. This has clearly withered away in recent years. But yeah I’m sure it’s out of some delusional pity he’s coming out with valid critiques.
@AstartesIneptus I’m gonna be real man as someone who recently finished reading the entire HH, they’re high brow works of art compared to the average Halo book, and that’s saying something as someone who also loved many Halo books.
