@socialimmedia Early in Morrowind's main quest you get told by your main quest giver to basically go out and do shit on your own until you're a well established local figure and have enough sway to do realistically do the rest of the main quest.
A lot of games already treated discs as superfluous and basically required you to download the whole game anyway even if you had it, so not a surprising direction, but certainly a disappointing one.
