@jennyeclair Absolutely - parents instincts are everything which is how your daughter found me. She knew despite reassurances from health professionals that something wasn’t right. So pleased I was able to help and support her. And hopefully baby A will take off with his eating now!!
@jennyeclair Please don’t feel guilty. You can only do what you can with the information you have at the time. Your daughter was falsely reassured multiple times by multiple professionals who weren’t even qualified to assess for tongue tie. It’s not good enough.

We need to be careful not to over generalize. Thickening liquids CAN help patients, even populations of patients, but they need to be used judiciously. One size does not fit all in #dysphagia.
