Our 2025-2026 Impact Report shows what’s possible when people come together to ensure everyone has access to the food and support they need.
With the support of donors and corporate partners, we were able to keep food bank shelves stocked with healthy food and ensure our network had the resources to respond to the unique needs of communities across the province.

Our donors are showing what generosity truly looks like by supporting their neighbours facing hunger. We’re incredibly grateful for their kindness – it allows us to keep food bank shelves stocked, help food banks meet the needs of their local community, and continue our work toward meaningful solutions to end hunger in the future.

Hi @JDoh2983, thank you for asking! The food banks in our network are different sizes and have different capacities depending on the needs of their community, so it depends on where you live! You can find your nearest food bank with our Find a Food Bank tool (https://t.co/xpRYQlwzFo) to connect with them directly about volunteering!
Neighbours helping their neighbours can have an incredible impact. Thanks to our partners in the transportation industry, like @ErbTransport and @HighlightMotor, we’re able to move more food than ever before across the province - to where it’s needed most, when it’s needed most. Their support means that our network can maximize efficiency, share resources, and make sure people and families in need have access to healthy fresh and frozen options.

A warm welcome to the next new Board of Directors member we’re introducing, Charles Jergl!
Charles Jergl is the Vice President of Programs and Services at @DailyBreadTO. Charles became involved in food security issues in 2005, when as a food bank client, he participated in a Community Based Research Project on poverty organized by Daily Bread. In his current role oversees training, program support, and development of 214 food programs including meal programs and food banks. We’re looking forward to the expertise he will bring to our board!
Today is the last day to have your generosity doubled! When you give today, @OntarioTurkey will match your donation, helping more kids and families facing hunger across the province have access to fresh, healthy food this summer.

In the summer, the services food banks provide to families throughout the province are more important than ever as they fill the gaps left without supports like school breakfast programs that are available during the year. And we need your help to continue providing healthy food to families, and kids, in need this summer.
Time is running out to make double the difference – there’s only 2 days left to have your donation matched by @OntarioTurkey! Every dollar donated can provide 4 meals to families across Ontario – give today to make a real difference: https://t.co/vVCwAGk7jA
Last week we joined @kerrstmission to welcome Minister @stcrawford2 to tour the food bank, and we were proud to have the opportunity to highlight the incredible work the food banks in our network, their volunteers, and their staff are doing locally. During the visit, we discussed the challenges Oakville residents are facing, along with how the dedicated work of the food bank is supporting those in need.
Thank you to Minister Crawford for taking the time to connect with our team, listen to community experiences, and engage in meaningful conversations about food insecurity and solutions to address poverty.
@stcrawford2 Thank you to Minister @stcrawford2 for taking the time to connect with us and engage in meaningful conversations and to @kerrstmission for hosting us!
At a time when the rising cost of living is affecting nearly every household across Ontario, our donors have shown what generosity truly looks like by supporting their neighbours when it matters most.
We’re incredibly grateful to our supporters, who have helped make sure people and families across the province have access to the food and support they need. Recently, we asked them why they chose to contribute to our work to end hunger, and what we heard in response moved us deeply.

When it was needed most, people and organizations have worked together to support their neighbours facing hunger. Our FeedON pillar sponsors @FarmBoy, @HydroOne Employee Giving Program and Corporate Match, and @LCBO have made a powerful difference – and the impact is incredible to see.
They’ve helped us provide over 25 million pounds of food to food banks, keeping shelves stocked with pantry staples, fresh and frozen produce, healthy proteins like beef, chicken, pork, turkey, and essentials like milk and eggs. This means more nutritious options are available to people and families facing hunger across the province.

Neighbours lending a helping hand to their neighbours can have an incredible impact. Our Feed Possibility pillar sponsors @CAA, CG Wellington, @ETFOeducators, and @RHFoodEquip have shown the meaningful difference that can be made when caring people are dedicated to giving back to their community.
With their support, Our Feeding Possibility! Grants help food banks build their capacity and offer additional programming for those in need. Our grants support the purchase of new equipment like fridges, forklifts, and trucks to help food banks receive and share more food with people and families facing hunger. The grants also fund the creation of new programs like community gardens or food forests, meal programs, waste-reduction initiatives, and local civic engagement efforts, so food banks can meet the unique needs of their communities.

She is a nonprofit executive and sector leader with extensive experience in governance, strategic planning, and system-level impact across Ontario’s social services sector. She currently leads Community Services of Belleville and District, which supports 1,500 individuals and families annually, including many experiencing poverty and food insecurity. We look forward to the knowledge and experience she will bring to our board!

Food bank visits have continued to rise, but across the province people and organizations have been stepping up to support their neighbours facing hunger. Our friends at @RHFoodEquip are just one incredible example of this in action. They have donated over $63,000 of kitchen equipment, including fridges, to food banks throughout the province - like @KanataFoodCpbrd and Doors of Compassion - CFOC - which allows our network to share more fresh, healthy food with the people and families who need it most.

Over the past year, when the need for food banks grew, so did our response. Our partnership with @UHC_'s Leamington Regional Food Hub is just one example of how we’ve created innovative solutions to deliver more food than ever before and provide locally grown produce to communities across Ontario. The partnership has allowed us to deliver a total of 3.2 million pounds of fresh produce, like tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers, to over 30 communities in the last year alone.

Summer can mean fun in the sun for many, but for those struggling to put food on the table, summer can mean the end of vital supports like school nutrition programs that help make sure their children have enough food to eat.
For many families across Ontario, whether they’re going through a rough patch or their wages just aren’t enough to buy the food they need, the end of the school year often leaves parents no choice but to turn to a food bank to get by when school nutrition programs disappear for the summer.
With your help, we can make sure food bank shelves stay stocked, so families across the province can make it through a rough patch and ensure their kids have the healthy food they need to grow, learn, and have fun this summer. And until August 15, our partner @OntarioTurkey is matching every dollar donated, up to $10,000, helping your kindness go twice as far.

When people and families facing hunger in Ontario need it most, our partners like The @Cheesecake Factory of Toronto are making a difference. They’ve announced their new charity flavour, Brownie Crunch Choc-a-Lot Cheesecake: milk and white chocolate marbled cheesecake on a crunchy toffee brownie. For every slice purchased, The Cheesecake Factory of Toronto will donate $0.25 in support of our work to end hunger.
