People think if #NUFC buy Benjamin Sesko then that automatically means they sell Alexander Isak to Liverpool.
Wrong. Here's why:
Having a top centre forward in the door makes the necessity to rely on Isak pretty redundant. The fears of him chucking his toys out the pram & sulking all season hurts him more than it does the club
We can afford to keep him & challenge him to stay for one more year under the agreement that we will sell to a Madrid or Barcelona or Bayern next season (for the right fee)
These types of agreements have always gone on.
Harry Kane with Spurs. One more year then Bayern
Cristiano Ronaldo with Man Utd. One more year then Madrid
And others
Plus let's be real. Newcastle do not want to sell Isak to another PL club. And they dont NEED to sell. He has 3 years left. His value wont drop. They would much rather sell him abroad.
And if you're telling me Isak would rather play for Liverpool over Madrid or Barca then you must be another scouser in my mentions
Sit Isak down. Give him improved wages. Stick in a release clause that's fair. Tell him we will not sell to Liverpool but you can have Madrid with our best wishes next season. And crack on.
We are in the UCL. We have a decent team. If he wants that move next year he has no choice but to play at his absolute best & make sure he's in the team.
We need to act like a big club. Play your cards right. Because we still hold the fuckers ♠️♣️♦️❤️
