@matthewdmarsden We should ban offsetting for a start. It’s just a way of allowing rich people to bypass rules they’d impose on us.
By all means, set up non-profit making decarbonisation projects they can donate to altruistically but let’s remove the link to absolving hypocritical choices.
@andersleijersta If @BorisJohnson had wanted to stop illegal immigration, he’d have done it long ago (by using his majority to secure borders, remove incentives & pull out of treaties that work against British interests).
He hasn’t so we can be sure he wants it to continue.
@nickdalton1972 I am currently in the process of attempting to get as many of my fellow students to (if they want to) make a stand against the mandating of vaccination for lectures. Appreciate any RT's to get any advice plus numbers must count for something. RT
@tomhfh The most anyone could say now is that, theoretically, they don’t believe it’ll impact fertility.
There hasn’t been time for real world testing from start of sperm production/ ovulation to healthy child).

@Santiaguerra2@jessicaelgot All bereaved families (whether through Covid or Vax) have my sympathy and I respect their right to make sense of their loss in whatever way they feel appropriate.

@camus37 @BorisJohnson calling people he was elected to serve names whilst demonstrating his own lack of knowledge on the subject - (BCG hasn’t been part of the routine immunisations schedule since 2005).
@jessicaelgot Whilst I’m sure there are people who regret not getting the jab, there will be others who’ve experienced adverse reactions and bitterly regret getting it.
Where are the articles featuring them (or their bereaved relatives)?
@Fox_Claire@_Theunisse I was taught we should learn the lessons of history or be condemned to repeat them.
Surely we’re duty bound to be vigilant for warning signs learnt from past horrors if we’re to keep collective promises to never let them happen again.
@JTibballs@JamesBr66989536@toadmeister Apart from the more than 1 million adverse reactions (including 1400 deaths) reported via the Government’s own Yellow Card system you mean?
@steveM93543062 @matthewdmarsden I rewatched the whole trilogy during lockdown. Still amazing but I suspect some of its magic would be lost on those who didn’t live through the unfolding events of the time.
