My biggest issue with PlayStation moving away from physical games isn’t just “I like discs.”
It’s competition.
Digital was sold as convenience: no store trip, no packaging, no waiting. Cool. But it was never cheaper. Physical has almost always been where the deals are because retailers compete, run loss leaders, clear stock, and there’s a second-hand market.
Remove physical and you remove all of that.
No borrowing a game from a mate. No resale. No trade-ins. No preowned copy for someone on a budget. No EB/JB/Amazon/Big W fighting over who has the cheapest launch price. No real alternative storefront.
Just PlayStation Store, PlayStation’s price, PlayStation’s rules, and PlayStation’s cut.
That’s not just “the future.” That’s anti-consumer and anti-competitive.
Convenience is great. A closed market where one company controls access, pricing, licensing, and availability is not.
For @tpusa to have had nothing to do with Charlie’s murder, all of these would have to be pure coincidences:
1. No ambulance was present at UVU.
2. UVU told Charlie’s team they could not secure the location and recommended moving the event. Charlie’s team insisted it stay in the same spot.
3. UVU was booked on extremely short notice—an anomaly for events that are normally scheduled far in advance.
4. None of Charlie’s security team drew their weapons after he was shot.
5. Charlie wore a white shirt for the first time.
6. Charlie’s RØDE mic was mounted with the microphone next to his chest instead of the magnet.
7. No one on Charlie’s team called 911.
8.Charlie’s security waved off first responders, loaded him into the SUV without securing the wound, and allowed him to bleed out.
9. No one on Charlie’s team ever mentioned the RØDE mic shattering.
10. Frank Turek and Brian Harpole gave conflicting accounts of what happened inside the SUV.
11. Charlie’s shirt, pants, and necklace were never turned over to police as evidence.
12.Governor Cox and FBI Director Patel ordered the immediate excavation of the ~20'x20' area where Charlie was seated, followed by emergency paver installation—before the site was released to the public.
🚨 Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the VAR decision that denied Iran a last-minute victory against Egypt:
🗣️ "This is exactly why people are losing faith in VAR. We were told it was there to eliminate obvious mistakes, but somehow it continues to create bigger controversies on the biggest stage in football. This is simply unacceptable."
"I've watched the replay over and over again, and I still don't understand how anyone could have called that offside. If you're going to disallow a goal that could decide the World Cup for a nation, you'd better be 100% sure and not guess behind a screen. Millions of Iranians celebrated what they thought was a historic moment, only for a bunch of officials to erase it in seconds. You didn't just deny a goal; you stole a nation's dream."
"The referee and the VAR officials must be held accountable for decisions like this. You can't hide behind technology when technology is being misused. This isn't justice; this is incompetence." "The World Cup is held once every four years. Players sacrifice everything to get here, fans travel across the globe, and then one shocking decision destroys months of hard work. This is unforgivable."
"If this is the standard of refereeing in football's biggest tournament, something serious is broken. Football deserves better, players deserve better, and above all, fans deserve much better than this."

Rockstar spent well over $1b and more than a decade bringing you this game.
It is the most expensive game in history with the largest development team ever.
More than 7,000 people worked on this and they all need to be paid.
Rockstar isn’t a charity.
You’ve had 13 years to save up $100.
Stop being a bitch.
