Yesterday's situation with @gotbit_io only proves the level of greed and #FOMO in the market. #SCAM
TL;DR
For those who don't know:
Account X was compromised by an attacker, after which a presale was announced (see photo 👇). Thanks to these actions, the attacker took about $365 SOL (≈$70,000) in 15-20 minutes. 🙃🙃

In pursuit of money due to #FOMO, people without hesitation transfer money to other people's wallets, ignoring all red flags❗️
In this case, 100+ people transferred their funds. Most were small amounts, but some people transferred 10 $SOL, one transferred 50 $SOL ($10,000).
Of course, Gotbit Hedge Fund is to blame here, because they should have taken better care of account protection, but still, in the world of crypto, cases of Twitter hacking happen every day, so every person who does not want to be deceived keeps this in mind. Especially in this case, when the number of red flags was huge:
1. Gotbit has never mentioned its intentions to issue its own token. ❌
2. Fundraising starts right here and now, and is not announced, say, the next day. ‼️
3. The cap per person varies from small to large, so that more people are involved in the scam and a good profit can be made. (there were several variations of the text). ❗️
4. Bonuses and other incentives so that you transfer funds very quickly. ⁉️
5. The main thing. 🆘 Comments were closed and the post was deleted almost immediately after publication (2-3 minutes maximum). But in its place a new one appeared (there were 3-4 posts in total). Apparently Gotbit immediately noticed the problem and tried to fix it, but they did not have full control over the account.
In general, before transferring money to someone else’s wallet, think 10 times, are you sure about this? There is a high probability that no one will return this money to you. And also read the investigations on the page @zachxbt
I think many of you will be interested in his posts, and will also make you think more and doubt more. Don't give in to #FOMO too much, it will ruin you.
