I forgot to tell you that boredom is a doorway to the unconscious mind. During the withdrawal symptoms of boredom, you'll feel restless, empty, dull maybe even impending doom. Your mind will be spamming you with notifications (thoughts) to go and DO something like doomscroll.
This is a "self-protection" mechanism stopping you from diving deep into yourself so you don't destroy your current identity (what the ego clings to). Though what you currently cling to, isn't who you were when you were 5 years old??
Your mind is like a browser, every single experience that has had any amount of emotional peak (1/10 emotional intensity to 10/10 - peak trauma) is saved into the unconscious and left open like a tab on a browser.
On an unconscious level you store this experience as "important" and it slowly merges into a part of your identity, sneakily running your life experience.
You'll start remembering times when you were embarrassed, when you screwed up a relationship or fumbled an opportunity, made an ass of yourself. Things you haven't thought of in years.
Whatever you have unknowingly saved will play out in real life, over and over in different ways until it's so painful you're forced to deal with it.
For example you said something in the past that embarrassed you? You'll also feel extreme tension and anxiety when speaking up or putting yourself in a position to be embarrassed, this experience is only pointing you back towards that block but because you have never been taught anything about internal dynamics, you just brush it off as being a nervous person.
When in reality, you've been conditioned through life and your automatic perspective development (how u automatically interpret and save the meaning of an experience - based on your belief system). Btw This happens exactly at the peak of the emotional experience at that point in time.
There's too many experiences to consciously summon up, hence why boredom is so important, and instead of ever closing the tabs you just keep opening new ones hoping that life is going to change but they act as a self repeating loop as your browser (mind) automatically takes you to the websites saved in the cookies (circumstances that reflect ur beliefs).
When you go deep into boredom something deeper takes over
The same thing that makes life grow and adapt through evolution (infinite intelligence) is within you and in this bored state it spawns random memories from your past into your conscious mind. It will never bring up something too difficult to deal with at your current point, and it will never bombard you with too much. It brings you exactly what you're capable and ready to deal with.
The process I used to navigate this was
Bored -> Discomfort -> Ease -> Random memory arises -> Close eyes and go into the memory -> Pinpoint the view/perspective I adopted at that point in time @ emotional climax -> look at it and see if it's actually true/useful or due to my ignorance/lack of aware at that point in time -> 99.9% of the time it's useless -> Accept that and forgive myself/others in the memory -> Reframe perspective with the more understanding view I can generate now -> The old view is automatically let go of and replaced by the higher view.
After that is when the childlike wonder hits full force. I've done this countless times, there were times I couldn't sleep at night because memories from the last 2 decades were spawning in my mind, one after the other.
I noticed after I did these sessions I was filled with an immense amount of joy, curiosity and excitement. I was able to fall in love with what was currently in front of me.
Like how a child can play in the field for hours, endlessly entertaining themselves with their imagination, I was doing the same in my adult life.
I was finally able to allow myself to dream to be curious about what could be, to allow your intuition (fun-meter) to guide you through life and have no blocks in letting that express itself.
You fall into a dance with life, you can let yourself be led by what you KNOW you want to do (while factoring in the totality of your present circumstances).
You work a job and realise the only reason you chose to work a job was because of XYZ belief you adopted from your dad when you were 9 (get a job or be poor forever).
Now that you've closed that tab, you get curious about creating a different income source, and when you open the internet to look, you see a new piece of content from a creator you've never heard of before or maybe you have but have never resonated with their stuff, maybe you feel so resonant you dm them, then for some reason they drop so MUCH SAUCE on you to point you in the right direction. (it happens more magically than this btw).
Now you're excited, now you fall in love with what you do, you love the process of learning new things, you get excited thinking about how to run things, you get challenged and it motivates you to solve the problem, before you know it, you're running a business beyond what you even KNEW was a possibility just a short time ago
After doing this practice more and more, that spaciousness that now is present in your unconscious becomes reflected in the circumstances of your life. You feel infinite possibility right here, right now. You don't feel BOUND to anything. You feel you could choose to do anything and there is NOTHING BLOCKING YOU FROM IT, except your own genuine curiosity but that doesn't matter because it leads you exactly where you TRULY want to be.
To sum it up
Boredom -> Ride out the discomfort -> Close tabs -> Follow Childlike Curiosity -> Enjoy your life day by day -> It gets better than you could imagine -> ??????
Naked body of a woman is most erotic when it wears ghosts of absent clothes. It's anti-platonic and his idea that "truth" means nondistortion. In erotic things art is more important than truth
