✅PiCT announces:
The Pi Smart Contract has undergone a third-party audit. This allows Pi to further expand its SC programming capabilities, supporting the development of applications such as: Pi Wallet, SDK, NFT, and DeFi.
The project will then move from Testnet to Mainnet.

V27 is set for September 15, the same day as the CLARITY Act vote. Coincidence, or has PCT been waiting for this moment all along? 😉
The dots are connecting. 📍
September 15 is now a double milestone:
1️⃣ Pi Network targets Protocol 27 Mainnet upgrade
2️⃣ U.S. Senate holds the CLARITY Act cloture vote
Many in the community are now asking: Is this really a coincidence?
Consider the timeline:
· CLARITY Act was initially expected much earlier
· Pi held back DEX and smart contracts for years
· Multiple delays pushed the vote to September 15
· Pi set v27 Mainnet upgrade for the exact same date
The theory gaining traction:
PCT has been strategically waiting for regulatory clarity before unlocking core DeFi features. Launching DEX and smart contracts before clear U.S. rules could expose Pi to serious legal risk. By aligning v27 with CLARITY Act timing, Pi positions itself as one of the few fully compliant crypto projects.
Is this the reason for the "slow and steady" approach all along? 😊
JUST IN: Pi Network Testnet upgrades to Protocol 27
The update adds more flexible and secure smart contract authentication after the successful Protocol 26 Mainnet upgrade, with Mainnet targeting September 15

Following the successful completion of the Protocol 26 upgrade on Pi Mainnet, Pi Testnet is upgrading to Protocol 27!
Protocol 27 introduces more flexible and secure smart contract authentication capabilities, enabling more advanced ways for accounts and applications to authorize transactions. The upgrade continues Pi’s broader work to incorporate newer protocol features and expand the network’s smart contract capabilities.
The target date for the Mainnet upgrade to 27 is September 15, 2026.

PiCT renamed it “pi-horizon” in Protocol 27 (Testnet) to assert Pi is an independent blockchain, free of the Stellar label. The networks are fully separate: PI doesn’t run on Stellar’s ledger, XLM is unrelated. Validators, passphrases, histories and tokens differ.

Along with the new Node 0.6.2 release, Pi has completed an initial distributed computing functionality test through SoloHost with five volunteer Node runners.
The devices operated by all five participants successfully completed the computing tasks sent to them automatically through a SoloHost app.
The test validated the end-to-end flow of tasks across real devices, including connecting to a Pi coordinator, receiving and processing computing jobs, and reporting results back.

💥😃 I just stumbled across something pretty interesting while exploring Pi Wallet… 👀
👉 There’s a wallet address:
GARNFVHUDMUTBM2NEW6EEHSUCMCH7RUH45XRKDW6GFCEL5AD2JNIW3X5
At first glance, nothing unusual.
But when I checked it against Stellar Explorer, I noticed the exact same address also exists on Stellar.
And it gets more interesting…
👀 I checked the Pi Mainnet data and found that this address actually received 0.1 Pi.
🤔 Coincidence?
Is it simply because Pi and Stellar use a similar address structure?
Or could there be something deeper going on behind the scenes?
I’m not jumping to conclusions.
But this is definitely interesting enough to investigate further. 👀🔎
The Pi2Day 2026 Ecosystem Quest ran from June 28 – July 13, celebrating and highlighting Pi2Day’s major ecosystem and utility-supporting updates.
The Quest guided Pioneers to complete activities that help them discover new apps, test ecosystem features, and understand how Pi’s infrastructure supports utility creation across compute, AI, and identity.
Pioneers who completed the Quest also received a special-edition in-app badge accessible in Pi Chats and Pi Social Profiles.

The Pi Node version 0.6.2 has been released!
This introduces improvements to SoloHost, Node connectivity, and the Pi Desktop user experience.
In parallel, Pi has successfully completed a distributed computing test through a SoloHost app, further advancing the utility of Pi Nodes beyond supporting the Pi blockchain.
Together, these updates make it easier to run and manage applications on Pi Nodes and SoloHost, while advancing their distributed computing utility.

The Pi Core Team has clearly stated that Tokens, DEXs (Decentralized Exchanges), and AMMs (Automated Market Makers) will be important components of the future Pi ecosystem.
Therefore, learning how to participate in trading, provide liquidity, and understand how the ecosystem operates will be a necessary process that every Pioneer needs to go through and master.
In the future, when Pi powers a global payment network, drives a thriving DEX ecosystem, empowers AI-driven applications, and serves hundreds of millions of real users, $314 will no longer be merely a symbolic number. It may stand as a milestone in Pi's journey of value discovery and global adoption.
Pi launches DEX, Launchpad, and an AI computing marketplace, then “real-human identity + AI computing + blockchain payments” may become its core ecosystem direction. At the current stage, the official initiatives that have already been deployed are AI KYC, PiVerify, and SoloHost, while the larger AI ecosystem is still in the expansion phase.
