Today is the death anniversary of Chiara Corbella Petrillo, the Italian Catholic woman who refused cancer treatment to save the life of her third baby after losing her first two kids. Cancer had severely affected her lungs, tongue and eyes. A year after giving birth, she died at her home dressed in her wedding gown. Sitting before the lord the morning before she died, Her husband leaned over and whispered “ is the cross really sweet like the Lord says?” “yes, Enrico. It is very sweet”
Chiara Corbella Petrillo, pray for us.
At 3000 feet above sea level, Bengaluru is one of the highest capital cities in India. Bottomless greed of the real estate mafia, politicians, corporates&bureaucrats has led to this. Entire city should be declared as eco sensitive zone& high rise construction should be banned.
Police Constable Kasappa Kallur's timely help to change the punctured tyre of an ambulance transporting a critically ill patient is truly inspiring.
A big salute to all our policemen and women who go beyond their call of duty to serve citizens.
