@Homeschool_LLC I’m a Gen X grandma and my 2 grandkids are my world! I worked 9 hours today, I could have gone home and done nothing but instead I picked up my 3 y/o grandson, we went to the park, had dinner and played for a few hours before his parents picked him up. It was a perfect afternoon

@hollowandhome Our grandkids 1 & 3 both live less than 20 minutes from us. We work FT & still see them 2-3 times a week, they spend the night almost every weekend. And we will cancel plans immediately if their parents need us to babysit. I can’t imagine my life any other way

@GreatLakesWife_ My dad passed 6 months ago. After a lot of discussion, my grandchildren ages 1 & 3 did not attend the burial. They were however included in all other events of the day including a celebration of life. I can’t imagine facing such a difficult day without their hugs and laughter.

Tonight, the Empire State Building tower lights will turn to a pink sparkle at 9:25 to honor the late Dolly Parton.

Dolly was a global cultural icon whose seven-decade career reached generations of fans. Beyond entertainment, Dolly leaves a significant philanthropic legacy through the Dollywood Foundation and Imagination Library, which has provided hundreds of millions of books to children worldwide.
