@eliana_jordan But mixing up on the same account or creating a different one. I'm affraid do confuse the algorithm if I start posting in different languages. Especially because I'm starting now 😅
One thing I can realize now that I'm working on side projects outside of my 9-5 is how this make us grow in other areas. I am a very generalist professional already with experience in differente areas, but working on my own things gives me a lot of space to experiment
I've been experimenting Cortex Agents in Snowflake, and I'm impressed by how fast and easy it was to setup.
I build a Platform Intelligence Agent for out team and it was crazzy simple: just setting your prompts tool definitions and standard SQL.
Breakdown on how it works and what it does in the replies. 👇
Here’s how the data gets into Snowflake:
• Airflow & Code: CI/CD triggers a Python AST parser on every merge to prod to extract code metadata into Snowflake tables.
•dbt: On deployment, we parse manifest.json + job run metadata into dbt metrics/lineage tables.
Clean, structured metadata sitting directly in the database to provide context for our agent.
@jackfriks Agreed. But it is also important to not close our eyes to what is happening right now. Things are changing fast and to stay on the game we need to be open and embrace these changes.
@shanebarakat In theory the software engineers should at least be reading the code generated by AI. For me this be basic difference actually between both 😅
@DenisCerednice1 I'm a developer since 20111 and honestly depending on what you are doing today you don't need to know how to code at all. Simple apps, landing pages or even small CRUDs do not require real developers mantaining.
It's different when we talk about critical and complex applications
@ArdenBuilds But is this real engagement? is this people that will interact to you in the future or are they just trying also to get follower? It's an honest question, I'm trying but grow in X and I'm seeing a lot of this posts now
@vitangelovic I can totally relate: it doesn't come natural to me this strategies to get engagement. I feel like I'm not being myself. BTW, Prague is a lovely city. I was there last month 😀
