Two years of LinkedIn outreach for clients.
One day I stared at hundreds of rows and still couldn't tell which opener worked.
Notion, Excel, all of it. Every tool breaks right where it gets interesting.
So I built my own.
How do you track your outreach?
Gotta say that I underestimated how challenging it is to build something and then promote it successfully.
But at the same time I really like the stress and the struggle that I get from doing it.
What do you like more? Building something or promoting something?
@DeVeyrn Difficult to say since most of them were beta-testers. And most of the times I was trying to be as close to them as possible to keep them on track.
Maybe I gotta try and see what happens if I dont
To all the SaaS founder:
What is your opinion on free trials. e.g. a 14-day trial to let customers check out your tool?
Does it make sense when being at the beginning? Got a feeling that the conversion is lower, especially when I onboarded clients into the trial via call.
Everybody saying that linkedin outreach is dead hasn't really tried. These are my stats from last week.
More then 40% reply rate and 4% booking rate
Everything done with pitching in the first message
@Tott_TradeTweet Absolut. Dazu sind KPIs auf LinkedIn wahnsinnig wichtig. Wissen wie viele Leute Vernetzungen annehmen, auf Nachrichten antworten usw.
Nur so lässt sich LinkedIn effektiv nutzen
@LR_LorenzoRossi@LinkedIn Maybe with the new "Looks like it is AI-slop" they will increase organic growth a bit so that posts reach more people again and everybody can rate on their own if they think that the post is ai and irrelevant or not.
At least that's what i'm hoping
@shopaditi we have this feature in germany for some time. in the beginning it was working more or less but now the reply rate goes down when you use voice notes
@DeVeyrn normally i go through an onboarding with them and setup their account with them.
Most of them then say they will test and use it but a lot forget about it and some of them dont login again, even though they showed a lot of interest during the call.
@CostaLaveron Thats the way. Then just monitoring KPIs and checking where you need to adjust.
LinkedIn outreach isn't that complicated if you work that way
@BuildWithxAI absolutely agree with you. building is the easy part where you can do your own thing. showing people why they need what you created is the difficult point
Doing LinkedIn outreach without knowing your KPIs is probably the most efficient way to burn all the leads you had.
You HAVE TO know your reply rate , follow-up rate, which opener works best and how many messages you need to send to book a single call.
Without that it's just hope
@ArnaudBelingaCX Really interesting to see. Still at the beginning but I'm very sure that despite LinkedIn, X is also a interesting channel to get new customers
