All this msq drama is hurting my brain, I wanna say couple of things tho pls read I won’t talk about stuff like this in the near future.
Finding a character boring, not liking them is okay. Calling slurs to that character is not cool.
Wanting more jingran screen time, very valid but downgrading his importance in the quest just to complain is not cool. He was way more important then suisui and some past characters from 3.x - 2.x.
The fan service is lowkey nothing burger, it’s still toned down A LOT from 2.x. Helping or touching someone with the intend to help or basically touching because you’re giving them something etc. shouldn’t be considered ‘love’ even though it’s okay to think otherwise and ship but let’s not be aggressive with it.
I feel like the extreme harem enjoyers yk whom and extreme male character lovers or just people who don’t like wuwa made the fan service look like something it’s not. I’ve seen people say it’s on iuno or shunguang from zzz level of romance… where?
The last thing I’m gonna say is jingran got that little fan service too but almost nobody is talking about it, they held hands and had moments but everyone brushed it off, not cool. The man and woman don’t have the equal service BUT that doesn’t mean they don’t have it. It just means it’s different but still there.
I just want everyone to complain in a good manner instead of everybody being on each others throats. Like let’s be civil, there’s zero reason to fight like this. What’s the point fighting this much and insulting each other over games? I just don’t get the point sorry.
That’s it. Now I’m gonna go draw my yaoi cya~
You can dislike how the scene was written, but pretending one moment of vulnerability somehow invalidates her entire characterization is just as reductive as the thing you're criticizing.
I'm crying man, you know you have fucked up big time when the jp fanbase is slandering your storytelling 😭
There's a limit in how much haremslop you can shove into a game before even the most target audience starts complaining about it.
WuWa is truly the 'potential man' of gachas.
Some wuwa critics has reached the point where the conclusion is decided before the scene even happens.
They take one interpretation, assume Kuro's intent, ignore the surrounding context, then use their own assumption as proof that the writing is bad
@yyng101 Romantic scenes existing ≠ every physical interaction being romantic
Nowhere have I denied clear romantic context with other charas anywhere. You’re generalizing 'context' by throwing unrelated scenes into a collage and labeling them all fanservice
Using PGR as proof that every Wuwa touch is romantic is funny when it literally shows Kuro knows how to make romantic intent explicit... Lucia openly confesses her love. That's very different from 'Rover physically supports someone, therefore romance'
The same company who straight up made Lucia kiss the MC in PGR 💔 do you genuinely think their intentions are "not everything is romance you guyzzz!! We do this for the deep meaning 🥺" It's not some super complex situation, just admit they push romance a lot.. 😭
Ppl are now making up dialogues. Rover never said that
The point was that there will always be someone who'll take their role even if they fail to change anything. Because ultimately people can only save themself
People have no media literacy and only care abt their agenda atp

@yyng101 Yeah coz you're also part of the reason for this misunderstanding... diluting and generalizing every instance of physical contact as 'romance' or 'intimacy' so now any character Rover touches apparently count as romantic framing unless they are told to be family
Every time a fem character ends up in that kind of situation with Rover people go "um actually it can be explained because she needs help-"
Well no, they actually did that because they wanted to sell an intimate moment with Rover in a stressful situation. That's it.
Calling everyone who disagrees with you 'incels', accusing Kuro of deliberately ruining female characters for revenue, invoking Solon Lee personally, and then ending with “I’m just a disappointed fan” is genuinely one of the most spectacular examples of fandom brainrot I’ve seen.
The story can deliberately create a crisis because the crisis is necessary for Qingxiao's character arc, while the physical assistance is simply a consequence of that crisis.
What kinda logic is this? Ofc the writers purposefully put a chara in every situation... The relevant question is why. Saying "the writers made her weak specifically so Rover could touch her" is an inference about authorial intent, not something established by the scene...
This is the point that bugged me, saw a lot of people justifying it because she was in danger but they purposely put her in that situation to force intimacy
Personally I see no issues with romance, especially when its done like in 3.5 where it felt genuine and physical intimacy wasn't forced but in 3.6 there were continuous moments where Qingxiao was weak and couldn't walk or stand up and Rover "needed" to touch her.
It feels really parasocial (more than usual) and even for people who enjoy ML it's a cheap way to build intimacy instead of gradually building it up and have natural touches
This quest in a lot of ways reminded me of Iuno's quest from 2.6 though it had a better plot
