reminder that the bcrypt hash function ignores input above a certain length! so if you do bcrypt(username || password) for some reason, a sufficiently long username will make it accept any password. to fix this you can sha256 the input first.

Once again I think the problem they're going to have here is that quite a lot of people now have anti-corruption standards at their own jobs, and they know full well they don't say "yeah blag as much free shit as you like, so long as you write it down in the big book of bribes"
