Breaking: An inmate died this afternoon at the Lane Murray Unit in Gatesville, TDCJ tells @KXAN_News.

Cause of death not yet confirmed. Sources familiar tell us the woman was vomiting and shaking, consistent with heat stroke symptoms.

That unit does not have AC in the cells.
