'Lots of food writing is concerned with health and purity. That's dangerous, friend. Food is about decay and dirt. Moldy cheese, fermented wines. Bacteria....'
- Anthony Bourdain
You need to be expanding your vocabulary. You need to be writing down words you don’t know from conversations, movies, podcasts and making flashcards. How you articulate yourself is powerful and it’s something that’s free and in your control.
More people today are displaying with mast cell degranulation and autonomic dysregulation, making them much more sensitive to protocols that may have worked previously.
Someone doesn't have to have hives or rashes to be dealing with MCAS.
In a world now obsessed with beef, the best thing you can do is rotate meats and seafood for optimal amino acid and nutrient diversity. Buy new cuts every month and try new things.
@iamjustapeater "This is how I healed so now it's my blueprint to help you heal too." - As if it's that simple. Also category errors in general as Kathleen describes.

Hair testing is essentially a meaningless test in the hands of a practitioner who doesn’t know how to use it.
And boy, do we see a lot of practitioners out there who are using this test in a completely antiquated manner.
Even supposed “htma experts” are using the test to look for low levels of whatever mineral and then telling people to eat more salt and cream of tartar for low sodium and potassium levels.
FACE PALM.
I cannot overstate this, but that approach is antiquated and stupid.
It does not take into account how the minerals interact and how they exist in a system.
Minerals will be expressed as low or high on a test because of antagonisms or synergisms at play between these elements.
It’s not necessarily that x mineral being low is indicative of that mineral being low in your diet, though that can contribute in some small measure.
But, again, this is a half truth.
And as they say, half truths lead to full lies, or in this case a healing program that will not get you the results you’re looking for.
By understanding ionomics and the ways in which the minerals interact you can unlock the power of the hair test and not only interpret it at a much higher level, but use that interpretation to set up a healing protocol that balances…..
𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙄𝙍𝙀 𝙈𝙄𝙉𝙀𝙍𝘼𝙇 𝙎𝙔𝙎𝙏𝙀𝙈 𝘼𝙇𝙇 𝘼𝙏 𝙊𝙉𝘾𝙀.
Through the balancing of this entire mineral system you can unlock the healing power of your body.
This mineral balancing process optimizes:
✅ Energy efficiency inside your cells
✅ Metal binding proteins
✅ Antioxidant enzymes
✅ Hormones
And much more.
But it is with this key understanding that you must balance the entire mineral system, all at once, through understanding how the mineral interact, that will lead to profound healing and massive results.
Anything less is insufficient and not worth your valuable money and time.
So beware the htma practitioners who say they want to run this amazing test on you to assess your deficiencies.
You can be sure you won’t get results with them.
When someone tries to sell by stirring up fear, it taps into the desperation and vulnerability that so many unwell people are already sitting in.
You suddenly believe this is the magic cure to fix all your problems. It's good marketing and there's not always malice behind it.
But the constant exposure keeps you stuck in functional freeze and a state of shame, never being good enough, if I could just buy this I would be healthy but I can't afford it, etc. Use your discernment.
You would go farther by detoxing from social media and health podcasts, calming down and creating safety and focusing on the foundations.
The peace of running some kind of functional test (HTMA is the most affordable) and following a three month protocol is unmatched.
People don't recognize that the daily scrambling and trial and error is fun for awhile, but eventually leads to more money lost and emotional energy spent.
Learning to trust the process and release control after setting up something for my bio-individual needs has helped me a lot.
You have a protocol that you know your body needs, and then you go back to focusing on the foundations consistently.
This is the only way I have seen progress because shiny object syndrome leads to people never being consistent with anything.
@BioavailableNd Doing this in the early morning with a coffee and red light is also a life hack for becoming invincible all day long. My stress resilience increases so much and I'm immovable.
You don’t need to read more books, fewer books might even be better, because what you really need to do is read more slowly, deeply, and far, far more selectively
