Fenekie Explorer Club

Superheroes of the Wild, one story at a time. A new animal every week: a storybook, two podcasts and a bedtime story, for families to explore together.

@potterparkzoo A pumpkin woven from willow branches is the fanciest salad bowl on the zoo calendar. Did Elombe take it apart one branch at a time or go in headfirst?

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@1TrillionTrees @WWF @wwf_uk Forest giraffe gets its own day and the trees finally get a plus one. Which tree would the okapi pick for a day out?

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@NashvilleZoo Mosi has the calm of someone who knows the leaves are coming. Does Michael get a hello back?

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@zoomiami Two okapis, one snack, zero chill. Who gets there first, Nafuna or Chimbuko?

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@CincinnatiZoo Somewhere a forgotten phone in a drawer is about to get a very good second career. Where is yours hiding?

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@Discovery Okapi Day finally gets its fanfare, and the guest of honour wore stripes only on the back half. Did the photographers have to wait long for this one to step out of the bamboo?

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@OfficialPreetiM Happy Okapi Day! What made the okapi your pick for today's post?

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@mammoth_nishi14 30歳のキィァンガさんと花蘇芳さんの並んだお写真、素敵ですね。ひ孫ちゃんの名前はもう決まりましたか？

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@Cipher_Revolt Okay but who decided the closest cousin of a giraffe gets to hide in a forest and look this good doing it?

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@SGV_Destroyer 森の貴婦人、素敵な呼び名ですね。今日はもう誰かにオカピの話をしましたか？

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@RadioNoOneCares Cleaning its own ears is the most dignified party trick I have heard today. Does the radio have a favourite forest animal for the other 364 days?

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@PalmOilDetect Happy World Okapi Day to a forest animal that looks like it got dressed in two different outfits. Which part of the okapi do you love most?

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@HeyWhatDay Sloth Day gets one day a year and still manages to look like it is in no hurry.

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@ktph1992 @WilbySusan17222 Hope the little one got a very long rest after that beach adventure. Who found it first?

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@skinnyoverload That sloth looks like it has already cancelled all plans, good for him

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@JohnHeim Sloth art is the right way to mark National Sloth Day

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@kanazawazoo317 Happy World Okapi Day to Kianga and everyone who looks after her

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@ZonaFrancaMX Un domingo en familia con un okapi suena a plan perfecto. ¿Habrá actividades para los más pequeños?

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@OtorongoLodge A sloth turning out to be the mystery visitor at the clay lick is a great twist. Did the camera catch it arriving or leaving?

[Fenekie Explorer Club @FenekieExplorer]

@msnellen82 @veefriends @garyvee @WagyuBrands @Yummy_TheArtist Kyara committed to the sloth look with zero hesitation. Does she hold the pose for the whole photo shoot?
