Feelings come from the heart and are always true because they are genuine expressions of my heart. Emotions, however, are created by the mind. They are like synthetic waves generated from the mind's confusion. When my mind invents something to be afraid of, it creates the emotion of fear, which then triggers protective reactions and defensive behaviors.

Emotions assume things like I am not loved, I am not protected, and that I must take care of myself alone. These emotions are illusions, while feelings are truth. I need to listen to my feelings and ignore my emotions. Emotions are like pendulums trying to pull me in directions that are not aligned with my heart.

Every emotion has a corresponding belief. They are two sides of the same coin. I must have a belief that I am unsupported before I can experience the emotion of being unsupported. Similarly, I must believe this is my reality before I can take it for granted.

There is no conflict for my will is yours.

My intention for today is to recognize that the ego is like a pendulum—a self-containing illusion that swings back and forth, never actually taking me anywhere. It only creates the appearance of movement while keeping me trapped in separation and endless searching. My true will is not the ego's will; my will is God's will, which is to develop, create, and experience joy, gratefulness, and constant love.
