Itโs usually subject matter experts in some related field pretending to be some security expert. Iโd never willingly trust anyone with that kind of ego making statements about this being a security issue. Itโs just buzzword terms being thrown around to fear monger.
Your point about the average YouTuber that claims to be an engineer holds true in this case.
Just wanted to clarify Kasperskyโs initial detection. The first scan for a newly identified executable is almost always heuristic against a YARA ruleset, anything sequential gets submitted to their in-depth analysis engine for more accurate results. Iโd trust the company with a 99%
@Vryionic Most people live by the consensus that their anti virus cannot be wrong ever, and detections made purely based on heuristic analysis are 100% correct (the behavior most EDR engines use.) Ignore all the hate! Your project is open source for any skeptics, and subject matter experts
@FemBingle@softgaypaws Everyone starts somewhere, but don't let that discourage you! There's a bunch of super helpful plugins that make weight painting easier, which I'd be happy to share! I'm also open to any questions if need be! ๐ค
