Fenton, age 8 1/2: Before Henry Ford’s assembly line, it took 12+ hours to make a car. He got that down to 3 hours.
Me: Would you rather spend 12+ hours making a car? Or 3?
F: I’d rather spend a few minutes writing code so the robots make the car for me. ⭐️

I taught Fenton the phrase “Don’t talk to me til I’ve had my cup o’ mud” (he already knows “coffee is for closers,” I taught him that when he was 2) but in repeating it back he changed it to “bowl o’ beans” which is not bad.
