The umpires for the Nationals / Red Sox game are having a field day 🤣
They first eject Willson Contreras for tapping his head and are now confused on the count.
I really think Willson Contreras is a great leader for this young team. He cares about baseball and family more than almost anybody, and it’s bringing a fire to this team.
The Red Sox just swept the Yankees and are on a four game win streak. Their next four opponents?
Washington Nationals (43-42)
Los Angeles Angels (36-49)
Chicago White Sox (43-39)
New York Mets (35-49)
This really could be the start of something for Boston… 👀
I think that walk-off means more to Jarren Duran than many of us realize. Do not be surprised if he begins to break out offensively from this point on.
@BOSSportsGordo I think it’s regarding his comeback and the rumors surrounding him. He’s saying he understands the doubt the fans have but that he’s willing to have that conversation, understand where they are coming from, and prove it wrong by balling next year.
Re hitting coaching: No coach was gonna make the lineups the Red Sox had out there in Sept/Oct magically hit. It all starts with personnel. When they had quality lineups they hit. When they had AAAA players in there they didn’t. So unless you’re in that room and can tell me specifically how a coach wasn’t doing their job, claims are baseless.
@BOSSportsGordo Yes. The Sox have the advantage by already holding a spot. They don’t need to work their way up, they just need to make an adjustment and get back to winning ball games; they’re dependent on no team, just have to hold their spot.
