@Leandra33808832@TheAliceSmith All States are authoritarian. Some more, some less. Do you want a State controlled by Capital, or a State that puts Capital on a leash & puts it to work for the people, instead of the Capitalist?
@TheAliceSmith One is a dictatorship of capital, the other a dictatorship of the proletariat. One benefits a rich elite. The other benefits the people. You can have a State that’s for a tiny minority, or you can have a State that’s ideologically committed to the liberation of the people.
@sigmahamster2 The “ism” determines who gets paid. The surplus value, or profit is created by labour. That profit can buy the capitalists 3rd house, or you can build a hospital. The failure is to think the former is normal human behaviour.
@ThomasTillerman@DrFrankTurek If you don’t want to be thought of as a moron, don’t say moronic things. Maybe it’s the lack of oxygen way up there on your moral high ground.
@Olasejoe It’s more a case of the “evidence” not being compelling. It’s not a science problem, because no one expects you to prove your assertions with science. Neither is it a heart problem. Literally no one is opposed to there being a god, it’s a you problem. Your “evidence” sucks.
@Maddytx76 I’m convinced that anyone who does actual research into facts about US foreign policy, & has an ounce of empathy, isn’t a Republican or a Democrat.
@ThomasTillerman@DrFrankTurek We, is us, collectively, or in the case of a State, our representatives. When we don’t align perfectly, we hold space for each other & keep the lines of communication open for progress to be made. Why? Are you looking for loopholes to justify oppressing others?
@ThomasTillerman@DrFrankTurek I never said there was no place for a State. My concern is that there are certain religious types who hijack the State to deprive us off our rights, by using the State to enforce their beliefs on the rest of us.
@wendelltalks You do not think it’s because Christians come across as being certain of the things they believe. Yet, when asked for the evidence of their certainty, it always falls short of convincing. 🤷♂️
