@Baconbrix @expo I think the expo documentation is robust but there were multiple ways to do the same thing I think and I got confused of which to use. Maybe it’s easier for someone who’s been in the mobile world a bit more than me.

Took me 2 hours to build an @expo app but all afternoon to figure out how to us environment variables...

@Baconbrix @expo I’m not sure. I’m a web dev so I’m not very familiar with other mobile dev env variable workflows and was trying expo for fun project. For the web it’s typically just dotenv + secrets manager.

I’ve been doing some complicated stuff with aws and node but nothing beats going from an idea to a live web app on the #jamstack in 20 minutes.

API and DB via @airtable, @GatsbyJS fronted and deploy via @Netlify.
