@oreilly636 Donโt mind Sue Birdโs comment on CCโs TO, that's the only way she can slow down CC in crushing the so-called OGโs record. SW is trying hard to handcuff CC but she can't do it for so long. CC will expose SW through her game.
THIS ISNโT ONE RECORD CHASE.
Itโs an MVP ledger.
Caitlin Clark has played 35 games in 2026.
She is only:
25 POINTS + 10 ASSISTS
from becoming the first player in WNBA history with:
800 POINTS + 300 ASSISTS
IN THE SAME SEASON.
And she is currently on pace for something else no WNBA player has ever done:
20+ PPG + 8+ APG
FOR AN ENTIRE SEASON.
And the deeper you go into the scoring + playmaking thresholds, the crazier the season gets.
34 of 35 โ 5+ AST
33 of 35 โ 10+ PTS / 5+ AST
29 of 35 โ 15+ PTS / 5+ AST
23 of 35 โ 20+ PTS / 5+ AST
13 of 35 โ 25+ PTS / 5+ AST
5 of 35 โ 30+ PTS / 5+ AST
1 of 35 โ 40+ PTS / 5+ AST
And sitting on top of that consistency are the records:
23 ... 20+ PTS / 5+ AST games โ WNBA single-season record
13 ... 25+ PTS / 5+ AST games โ WNBA single-season record
11 ... 20+ PTS / 10+ AST games โ WNBA single-season record
4 ... 30+ PTS / 10+ AST games โ WNBA single-season record
And then the apex:
45 POINTS + 10 ASSISTS
The first 40+ point / 10+ assist game in WNBA history.
The records aren't outliers.
They're the top of a nightly pattern.
Now zoom out:
775 points.
290 assists.
100 threes.
22.1 PPG.
8.3 APG.
3rd in WNBA scoring.
T-1st in assists.
Then there are the records still moving.
Clark has:
15 STRAIGHT GAMES
WITH 7+ ASSISTS.
The WNBA record is 17.
2 to tie.
3 to own it outright.
She also has:
12 POINTSโASSISTS DOUBLE-DOUBLES.
The single-season record is 15.
3 to tie.
4 to own it.
And August history is already secured.
Through 10 games:
234 points.
91 assists.
She has already clinched another month averaging:
20+ PPG + 8+ APG.
It will be the sixth such month of her career.
No other WNBA player has ever done it once.
So Connecticut isn't pass/fail.
It's the next rung.
Get 8 assists, and August becomes:
20+ PPG + 9.0 APG.
That would be the third 20+/9+ month in WNBA history.
The first two?
Also Caitlin Clark.
And the individual production is translating directly to winning.
Indiana is:
25โ14 โ franchise record for wins
11 games over .500 โ best mark since 2012
18 games scoring 100+ โ WNBA single-season record
6 straight 100-point games โ WNBA record
3,769 team points โ 19 from the WNBA single-season record
#1 offense in the WNBA
The recognition has followed:
4ร Eastern Conference Player of the Week
2ร AP Player of the Week
Eastern Conference Player of the Month
All-Star starter
And yes, the bad receipt belongs on the board too:
161 turnovers.
WNBA high.
No hiding it.
Now weigh that against the scoring, the creation, the records, the historic offense and the franchise-record winning.
This is why the question is getting harder to avoid:
TEAM MVP?
Absolutely.
LEAGUE MVP?
The case is sitting right there.
This isnโt one record chase.
ITโS AN MVP LEDGER. ๐งพโ

@Kendostart3 I agree ๐ฏ %. Iโm with SWโs agenda. She needs to be kicked out. CC needs a coach that will unleash her and cook. Everybody eats when CC has the key of the offense. Not ISO or a HUB like AB is doing. Running game and PnR is where CC at best.
@letstalkksports Because the coaching staff are too focus of KM getting her 20 prs. scoring streak alive. Itโs plain stupidity. CCโs engine was running but never on acceleration because they want KM scores all the time. This is BS of a game plan.
@UnderdogWNBA Are they doing in game lay up line? It is a big opposite when they are playing with CC. The defense they put up against CC is like soft MMA. SMH ๐
