Over 20,000 showed up in hot but breezy ATL. So proud of our diverse crowd - all ages, all genders, all complexions, entire families AND so many of my senior age group. I’ve no doubt it was the first protest for many.

If I had to reregister to vote, post SAVE Act, I'd need:
a $25 copy of my birth certificate,
a $5 copy of my name change,
a $3 copy of my marriage license,
and an $89 drivers license.
OR a $165 passport.
Not only is it an unconstitutional poll tax,
it's also a mostly pink tax.
NEW: Senator @MarkWarner tells me that Acting DNI Bill Pulte sought to take home the Presidential Daily Briefing, one of the most classified documents in the country, and, on one of his first days, asked whether he can have a private jet.
NEW: Georgia Republican Senate candidate Mike Collins pushed for deregulation that benefited his personal trucking business while opposing safety measures.
My latest for @MeidasTouch:

This is pure, unadulterated Nazism. Hitler’s program to remove disabled people from the community to “institutionalize” them was called “Aktion T4.” It resulted in 300,000 disabled people being murdered.
This is Buchenwald.
Military records show Chief Warrant Officer Rodney Bearman suffered a concussion, hearing and vision loss and blast lung — a condition caused by shrapnel damaging lung tissue — in an attack at a command post in Kuwait in March that killed six American soldiers and injured more than 20 others.
Speaking publicly for the first time, Bearman’s wife, Amy, told CBS News’ Jonah Kaplan that she believes the Pentagon misled her about the true nature of her husband’s injuries, adding that she was told by the Army that her husband’s injuries were classified as “not seriously injured.” Amy Bearman said her husband will deal with some of his injuries “for the rest of his life.”
The Bearmans are among several survivors and their families who told CBS News they weren’t being treated by the military as combat casualties, hindering their access to care. The Army strongly denies those claims and Amy Bearman’s allegation that she was misled about the true nature of her husband’s injuries.
Great job to Florida Republican elected officials who again feel that men who trafficked underage girls across state lines for sex and spent their time in Congress doing drugs should be rewarded. Not surprising coming from a man who just accepted an Ambassadorship from a convicted felon whose name is all over the Epstein files.
There was a rule when I was in Trump's first term: if a memo had a staple in it, it was too long for him to read.
Life-or-death decisions were cut to one page. Or a half-page. Or less. Bold fonts. BIG pictures.
When you’re wondering why everything’s a mess, remember that.
LMAO -- GOP Rep. French Hill is literally right now during a news conference touting the bipartisan housing bill and the president's support for it, unaware that Trump moments ago angrily announced he won't sign it
Huge bipartisan majorities in Congress passed a bill to lower housing costs.
But at the 11th hour, Donald Trump is refusing to sign it into law. His policies have made your costs go up — and he doesn't care.
Sen. @PattyMurray shades GOP Sen. Susan Collins:
Every single Republican in the Senate helped enable this horrifying reality. You don't get to act surprised the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade when you voted to confirm Brett Kavanaugh. You are going to own the suffering and pain you've inflicted on the women in this country.
On Monday, Tennessee GOP gubernatorial candidate @MontyFritts4TN ignored questions about having a Jew-hating, Hitler-loving figure starring in videos posted by his campaign. He did, however, repost a graphic saying he does not take money from AIPAC.
Not only did we leave them unprotected, we lied about their serious injuries. This is not the time to enlist - it’s partisan power retention over our military’s sacrifice.
NEW: Soldiers wounded in the deadliest attack against American troops in the Iran War tell @cbsnews they believe the Pentagon downplayed their injuries in the aftermath -- a claim DoD strongly denies.

I don’t say this often these days, but Congress actually passed something good.
My bipartisan housing bill to build more housing, lower costs, and stop private equity's housing grab is becoming law.
We've always had hateful, frightened little whiners like Stephen among us. They warned the Italians were going to take over, the Irish were going to take over, the Jews or Japs were going to take over.
What changes is how much power we give these little shits. Right now, a lot.
