The price of used cars has almost doubled since 2019. Yet every time a used car is sold at a dealership, the government taxes it again and again.
Today, @PierrePoilievre and I announced my bill, C-285, to scrap the GST on used cars and save Canadians thousands of dollars.
FDA Votes on COVID Boosters Without the Data
Eight of nine FDA advisory panel members just voted to update COVID vaccines for the 2026-2027 season. One of them admitted on the record that they do not have the data to make that recommendation.
@JeffereyJaxen walks through the VRBPAC vote, which recommended updating COVID vaccines to target the current dominant variant in a process that looks nearly identical to the rubber-stamp approvals of the COVID era.
Johns Hopkins professor Anna Durbin, one of the panel members, was quoted in Reuters saying: "We can't make a recommendation if we don't have the data." The vote proceeded 8-0 with one abstention.
@AaronSiriSG used his three minutes of public comment to put a precise record in front of that committee: over 70% of the 10 million V-safe participants reported needing medical care after COVID vaccination, with over 70% of those medical encounters resulting in hospitalization, emergency room, or urgent care visits, data the CDC fought in court for two years to keep hidden.
When the FDA conducted its own internal empirical Bayesian safety analysis, it produced safety signals that were hidden from the public. In Pfizer's original clinical trial, there were 21 deaths in the vaccinated group and 17 in the placebo group during the same period, with a slightly larger placebo group. Five years after promising the world these products are safe, the PREP Act immunity has never been lifted.
Siri closes with a request that everyone can agree with: if the products are safe, lift the immunity. The fact that they will not is the most honest statement the agency has made about these vaccines.
The segment then turns to a DOJ brief that Aaron Siri describes as a betrayal of religious liberty. New York's 2021 public health law required healthcare workers to be vaccinated against COVID with no religious exemption, only a narrow medical exemption.
Healthcare workers fired under that law appealed to the Supreme Court after the Second Circuit upheld New York's position. The Trump administration, when asked by the Supreme Court whether it wished to weigh in, chose to file an 18-page brief effectively telling the court not to take the case, which would leave the Second Circuit ruling as good law nationally, meaning employers can deny religious exemptions while offering medical ones without violating Title VII.
Siri notes the DOJ's own Civil Rights Division has simultaneously issued press releases saying employees should not be forced to choose between their religion and their jobs, and that private firms (including his own) have won multi-million dollar settlements for exactly these cases.
The DOJ should be going full throttle after bad actors in court. Instead it filed a brief that signals to employers nationwide that firing people for refusing vaccines on religious grounds is legally permissible.
Siri's full analysis is available on his Substack. His book, Vaccines: Amen, is available through ICAN's website, with all proceeds going directly to ICAN.
David Friedberg: California’s Voting System Looks Fraudulent, But It’s Working Exactly as Designed
@friedberg believes California’s extremely loose election laws enable “appointments” not free elections.
Why? The voting data in LA makes no statistical sense.
“ Pratt's post-election mail-in ballots declined by 1/3.
So statistically, the population of people that send in their ballots late reduced for Pratt by 1/3, increased for Nithya Raman by 80%, and Karen Bass 10% less, if you just look at the mail-in ballots before and after election day as a comparison.
I don't know if there's a sociopolitical way that you can assess those statistics and assume that these are individuals casting their individual vote for who they think should be Mayor of LA.
Basically, the concentration of incremental votes that Nithya Raman got came around the Skid Row area in Los Angeles.
But when you look at the basic statistics of what happened in person, mail-in before, mail-in after Election Day, it becomes a real statistical quagmire on how did this sort of a sociopolitical shift happen in such a way that it did?
Now, there was a report published, and they highlighted the 2018 California midterm elections and the challenges that they saw arise in that midterm election because of some of the legislative changes that were made.
First, California Assembly Bill 1921 legalized the practice of unlimited ballot harvesting in the state. What that means is that any individual in the state of California has the right to go and collect ballots from any other individuals, regardless of relationship, fill them out, and send them in.
California, two years later, 18 months later, also passed a law that made it permanent that every person registered in the state of California would get a ballot, so tens of millions of ballots then get mailed out.
Then there was another series of laws that were passed that said anyone can register to vote. You don't need to prove your citizenship. You can use a gym membership card as an example.
So anyone can register to vote. There is no proof of ID when you get a ballot. There is no demonstration that the person who fills out the ballot has anything to do with the individual who's supposed to be voting that ballot, and it is legal for an individual to go out and collect hundreds or thousands of ballots, ship them in, and they will all qualify in these kind of mail-in ballot voting processes.
So there's nothing illegal or fraudulent going on. In fact, the system is operating exactly as intended.
It has been set up and structured in a way that with the right construct, you can get an individual appointed, not elected, but appointed to a particular role in government under a, quote, ‘free election’ in California.”
This needs to be on a Times Square Billboard! 50% of health care spending is going to hospitals.
The majority of which pay no taxes, and their version of community benefit is:
1. Paying the CEO $30 million
2. Suing patients for unpaid bills that qualify for their
Financial assistance policy
3. Opening up offshore investment funds
4. Sponsoring professional sports teams
5. Closing down less profitable service lines like
labor and delivery units
6. Putting the 340B money into the general fund
7. Lapping up the facility fees
8. Spending more money on administration than patient
care
9. Having zero fear that the IRS will pull their nonprofit
status
There is NO justification for a hospital system to own hospitals across state lines!
🚨 BREAKING: In a bombshell moment, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis ABOLISHES H-1B VISAS from being used at state universities
"We can do it with Florida RESIDENTS or AMERICANS! If we can't? Then man, we need to REALLY look deeply at what's going on with this situation!"
DeSantis exposed that H-1B AUDITS found colleges were bringing in Chinese people on visas to talk to students about "public policy," among other issues.
"Why do we need to bring someone from CHINA to talk about public policy?!"
"I am directing today the Florida Board of Governors to PULL THE PLUG on the use of these H-1B visas at our universities."
HUGE! I LOVE my state! @GovRonDeSantis ☀️
Being told I dont understand injustice....... im a grooming gang victim love, ive faced injustice every day of my life.
-Sacrificed to be raped as a child to keep racial tensions at bay.
-moved to different locations known to be targetted by men raping children rather than stopping the rapes
-staff handling my clothes with PPE to protect themselves because of the blood and evidence of rape on them, yet never ringing police
-police ordering people to stop reporting me missing while also accepting i was a victim of child sexual exploitation
-Criminalised instead of my abusers
-blamed for my own rapes
-restrained and arrested by staff and police while being distressed over said rapes
-my child taken off me at 16 and out through a forced adoption so I could continue being raped
-told I wasnt worth the funding it took to save me
-my case covered up over and over again, including my files deleted, untill I exposed it to the bbc
-even once I finally got an investigation, it was me that had to move 7 times and lose everything I own repetedly, just so my abusers could stay out on bail while repetedly sending people to my house to silence me
-my other kids being removed for 54 weeks to try and "make me take responsibility for my own abuse" and drop civil cases
-being refused compensation even though they accepted my abuse breached my article 3 and 4 human rights
-being refused therapy for 8 years
-still targetted, called a liar and abused because I speak up about what happened and fight for all victims
The list goes on even more.
Dont try tell me about injustice darling. You dont know the half of it
Will Europe Save Hamas in Gaza? I recently met with a high-ranking European official from a country deeply involved in the Israel and Palestine file to discuss Gaza’s future and immediate options for relieving civilians trapped under Hamas’s grip. I presented a simple proposal: create safe zones across the "Yellow Line" into the Israel‑controlled green zone and support new, organized, secure, Hamas‑free communities where Gazans could finally begin rebuilding their lives. Whether the issue is humane living conditions, deradicalization, education, healthcare, or shielding civilians from both Hamas or Israeli strikes, the green zone is the only place where meaningful action is possible. Instead of engaging, the official launched into a long monologue about their country’s contributions to the Palestinian Authority, UNRWA, and other institutions, all while insisting on their own “humility” as a faraway European nation.
Then came the truly alarming part: a casual normalization of Hamas. The official proudly described how easy it had been to work with Hamas before October 7, praising the group for providing “excellent security” and being “easier to work with than others.” What they called pragmatism was, in reality, a twenty‑year pattern of enabling a violent terrorist organization responsible for immense civilian suffering.
When I explained that any Hamas‑free zones would require vetting at the Yellow Line to prevent weapons or operatives from entering, the official reacted with shock. “This vetting would violate international law,” they repeated, insisting that their country could not fund projects with any checks on who enters. I noted the absurdity: I had undergone extensive vetting just to enter their country, and even this building, yet they believed Hamas fighters should be able to walk into new civilian safe zones unimpeded. Their only response was vague appeals to “international law,” which, in their interpretation, seems to require allowing terrorists to hide among civilians.
The meeting ended on an even more surreal note. When the official asked what would happen to Hamas fighters left in the red zone, I said I didn’t care; they could fight the Israeli military on their own all they wanted once they no longer held two million civilians hostage. The official lamented that “this isn’t the old American West” and expressed concern for what would happen to Hamas without human shields. Disgust doesn’t begin to describe my feelings and reactions.
I left convinced of something long suspected: Hamas’s twenty‑year rule was sustained not only by its own brutality but by an ecosystem of NGOs, donor nations, Western European governments, journalists, academics, activists, lawyers, and even self‑styled human‑rights defenders who normalized Hamas, treated it as a legitimate authority, or tolerated its abuses because their hostility toward Israel outweighed their concern for Gazans.
So why am I lashing out at the AMA, an organization I was a proud member of and worked very hard for when I was at JAMA?
The X-world will learn, as I release documents regarding my litigation against them for firing me for what has been determined by the appropriate agencies as a 'civil rights violation.' You can use your imagination what that means in the context of their being all-in with DEI at the time.
They claimed that I denied the existence of racism in medicine - the exact opposite of what I said in a podcast the AMA edited and published after review by my supervisor. I had no control of that process. The courts agreed with my claim of libel and defamation, a decision the AMA appealed and lost in a unanimous decision. Along the way the courts described the AMA as disingenuous. An organization that holds itself out as representing Americas Physicians to policy makers should not engage in libel and if they do, they should be disqualified from representing us.
You have not heard much recently because the AMA asked the courts to keep the proceeding secret-They do not want the physician community to learn how they do business. However, the closed nature of the documentation is over, and I'll be able to share what I learned during the proceedings. It's not pretty and it shows how the AMA actually functions.
This is not what I wanted in life. I am an academic surgeon. I have no interest in politics. But the AMA destroyed my career and reputation for capricious reasons. I cannot let that stand. The AMA needs to be held accountable, no matter how wealthy they are compared to me.
Federal Liberal Attorney General @SeanFraserMP has refused to approve the prosecution of Charlotte Kates, director of Samidoun, a listed terrorist organization.
I filed the private prosecution after BC NDP Attorney General Niki Sharma chose not to act, despite the Vancouver Police recommending charges.
Why are Canada's Attorneys General protecting terrorist leaders from prosecution?
Breaking News: The California Supreme Court has denied the State of California's petition for review and request to stay the Palisades Fire Litigation. The Supreme Court denied the State's request to overturn the trial court's order overruling the State's demurrer to the plaintiffs' Master Complaint. This means that the fire victims' case against the State can proceed towards trial. Discovery has just begun. Justice is coming for the Palisades Fire victims. @spencerpratt@Hotshot_Movie@JeremyCom@LeonardFiles@AleneTchek
