🚨‼️Here’s the purpose of this chart: I wanted to lay out the Old Testament prophets in one clear overview so you can see the whole prophetic timeline at a glance. Many people read Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi as separate books without realizing where they fit historically. Some preached before Israel fell to Assyria, some warned Judah before Babylon came, some ministered during the captivity, and some preached after the remnant returned to rebuild.

This chart helps you see who the prophets were, when they prophesied, who they were sent to, where they ministered, who their contemporaries were, where they are found in Scripture, and what their main message was. That matters because prophecy is not random. God sent the right man with the right message at the right time to the right people. Israel needed warning. Judah needed rebuke. The exiles needed understanding and hope. The returned remnant needed correction, rebuilding, and preparation for the coming of the Lord.

When you put the prophets together like this, the pattern becomes hard to miss. The prophets preached repentance, judgment, mercy, restoration, and the coming kingdom. They exposed idolatry, corruption, false worship, wicked kings, careless priests, and rebellious nations. But they also pointed forward to the Messiah, the restoration of Israel, and the faithfulness of God to keep His word.

So this chart is not just information. It is a roadmap through the Old Testament prophetic ministry. It helps us rightly divide the historical setting, understand the audience, and see how God dealt with Israel, Judah, the nations, the captivity, and the post-exilic remnant. Once you see where each prophet stands on the timeline, their message becomes much clearer.

Chuck Norris held a 183-10-2 record and was a 6x world champion in full contact bare knuckle karate.

On top of that, he beat heavyweight kickboxing world champion Joe Lewis 3 consecutive times and also had a brutal sparring match with undefeated kickboxing world champion, Bill Superfoot Wallace, that lasted an hour and a half. According to Wallace, they practically stalemated and "beat the crap out of each other".

Chuck was trained in kickboxing/boxing by Benny The Jet Urquidez and was also trained in BJJ by the Gracies and Machados for 20 years. Even being able to submit Carlos Machado himself on occasion.

Chuck had a 315 Ibs bench press at 180 lbs bodyweight and was said to have a grip back in the day that nobody could escape from because he was so strong. Even Jean Claude Van Damme said he'd never fight Chuck Norris, despite being a kickboxing world champion himself.

Chuck held a 10th degree black belt in Chun Kuk Do, a 9th degree black belt in Tang Soo Do, an 8th degree black belt in Taekwondo, a 5th degree black belt in Karate, a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and a black belt in Judo.

The term "theological liberalism" is thrown around a lot.
When push comes to shove though, it still boils down to Richard Niebuhr's summation of what theological liberalism truly is: "A God without wrath brought men without sin into a kingdom without judgment through the ministrations of a Christ without a cross" (Kingdom of God in America, 193).

Liberal/progressive Christianity is more than that but it is no less than that, and it will always come down to it. Niebuhr's words 89 years ago are just as applicable in 1937 as they are today.
