Quem fingiu não saber quem era, agora já conhece muito bem. Das ruas da Barreira do Vasco à Copa do Mundo aos 19 anos, Rayan escreveu uma trajetória que parece roteiro de cinema para qualquer vascaíno. Muito antes do brilho nos profissionais, existia um garoto criado nos arredores de São Januário, apaixonado pelo clube e carregando um sonho enorme no peito. A bênção de Roberto Dinamite, que fez questão de conhecer de perto aquela promessa, parecia um sinal de que algo especial estava sendo construído.

O orgulho cruzmaltino já demonstrava cedo que seria diferente. Forte, canhoto, explosivo e dono de uma personalidade rara para a idade, Rayan estudou no Colégio Vasco da Gama e, desde os 6 anos, carregava a Cruz de Malta como parte da própria identidade. Fã de pipas, costumava entrar escondido nas piscinas de São Januário e cresceu praticamente dentro do clube. Entre futsal e categorias de base, foram quase 300 gols, números que impressionavam, mas que nunca falaram mais alto do que a sensação de quem o via jogar: havia algo raro naquele menino da Barreira. E ele próprio nunca esqueceu do conselho e da energia passada por Dinamite, algo que até hoje o faz se sentir especial.
