@Bombzillaa Computer science: hardware design, networking/IT, software security (hacking) and social behavior/psychology/human-machine interactions. Riot doesn't have the biggest employee numbers, so you'll have to excel at it.
@RiotPupulasers Augments related to snowballs appear even whe you don't pick snowball.
Translations are unclear in Spanish (EUW). This happens in arena too.
Maybe more augments specific to some classes.
Not only Mayhem, but Spirit Blossom portal can lead to missclicks far easier than hextech
@drewlevin I don't think you saw this. In short: does Riot have any data on girl/minority bullying? If so, is it more than surveys (eg an automated system)? I see bullying on girls way too often when playing with my friends.

@drewlevin Hello! I've got a couple of female friends who love LoL, but their girly usernames seem to cause more toxic behaviour from teammates than average. Is Riot collecting data about this kind of stuff? There's probably not a silver bullet for this, but visibility can be helpful.
@drewlevin I don't mind if the system takes a bit to catch up to my skill level, as long as it gives enough feedback fast enough to continue improving or correct mistakes/bad habits. You don't want to exclusively have a lagging indicator.
@drewlevin In short, I think you can have a "slow" rolling system, that measures skill in weeks/tens of games, while having a separate system that rewards both increase in skill and simple luck in matter of days/couple of games.
@SucukEmperor@drewlevin FYI Phreak is working on soft-inting detection systems like these. He's talked about it on his YouTube. I think they're called "behavioural systems". They're being deliberately vague as to not make these detections easy to exploit.
@drewlevin Not my case, but I assume you're not punishing "hitchhiking" in situations like a bronze player playing normals with diamonds? That seems too extreme and antithetical to your stated goals. Normal queues shouldn't be affected much by this.
@drewlevin@FanZhongsh24136 There are past Honor Ward skins that aren't unlockable anymore, while the Champion Skins are give to you for lvl5 honor. I would add them to that pool.

@drewlevin@ItsRenziee@RiotEndstep Remember that recommended runes will always be lower win rate because people unfamiliar with the character and/or not invested in the rune system will pick these. Uninformed players will generally play worse/not optimize their champ or rune usage.
@drewlevin Also a problem with AFKs, when your adc goes AFK you can't sell your supp item, so playing 1v2 is even harder. Jungler can't stay in lane either because of the jgl item penalising minion exp and kills.
@drewlevin Another possible solution would be for the item to be purchasable for everyone after minute 15, for example. No need to connect systems this way. The item already has systems to punish multiple people with it, so it would not be optimal in normal circumstances.
@voodoobeard After having to log in with my Microsoft account every single time I wanted to play Minecraft, I ended up switching launchers.
Modrinth works well, even if you don't plan to add any mods or other datapacks. It's also able to disable specific datapacks pre-launch.
