@jesse_bass20218 @ohhanxiety Nope. Humans are category ape but the categories don't actually exist in nature, it's just our way to organise things. There were species of which modern apes and humans evolved. Modern humans are a vast separation though because of evolution since that point.

@jesse_bass20218 @ohhanxiety because the categorizations aren't that clear cut. Humans are apes who evolved from other ape ancestors and share ancestry with modern apes. My cousin and I have the same grandparents on one side.
