Sphinx RTD Dark and Ferrous Pygments have been updated to use a PyPI friendly versioning scheme. Note that we just use the build number as the patch version.

We are so back

A big feature announcement for Ferrous: there will be support for directly importing C-API headers as modules. This will greatly cut down work required to implement bindings to system components and C libraries.

After some consideration, we added two flavours of multiline strings after all! There's now chomping multiline strings using /""/ and regular multiline strings using #""#. The difference is, chomping literals will automatically drop all literal newlines from the resulting value.

Hot take: in 2022, any new programming language that doesn't have a multi-dimensional array with slicing as part of the language (or the standard library with proper syntax support) - is dead on arrival.

If said class/struct is allocated on the heap that is of course.

Classes would be GC'd on the JVM and .NET and ref-counted on LLVM targets while structures would always be ref-counted by default on every platform. Relieve some GC pressure and get more control over your native memory, even on the JVM.
