@RishiSunak Nonsense. One can be proud of your country and not think that national service matters.
Volunteering is a fine thing and is to be applauded and encouraged, but compulsory service with punishments for failure to comply is not.
My days at GCN are done. What a great adventure it has been - developing and launching GCN RacePass which then became GCN+, developing the GCN app and the community within, creating the GCN news website - but also all of the extracurricular, non-software nerd things I got up to along the way: Stat Attack, World of Cycling, riding the Étape du Tour, presenting feature length documentaries, getting fit and then unfit and then fit again constantly.
I loved it all. And worked with some really fantastic people along the way (apart from Lloydy).
I'm still in my 30s (technically) and not quite 100% bald yet (technically), so I would like to have another job please. Don't hesitate to get in touch if you think I could be of use.
Thanks so much.

If you’re an #isleofman resident who used to live in the UK then you can vote. It takes minutes to do (as long as you can remember your old address!) and may make all the difference to our future.
@denni87263@PeterMIOM Saw your post and have just submitted my application. Luckily, I could remember our old address - it’s been, gulp, 40 years. Last UK general election I voted in was 1983.
Motornormativity = when motorists kill 400 pedestrians per year and cyclists kill 2, but cycling is seen as the devil incarnate by the media and government.
