Welcome to my journey towards motherhood. We've been trying for 2 years and have finally gone to our GP. This feed either ends with a squishy pink blob with my eyes, or a squishy blob with someone else's eyes. Strap in. #fertilityshmertility
@ChrisHewitt *desperate to get my question about non-toxic mother-son films answered*
..Jesus had a really strong bond with his mum, often overlooked by a focus on the tired father-son(-holy spirit) relationship. This Jesus Bday, what are the best films with positive mother-son storylines?
New one for my parenting scrapbook.
Kit screaming and crying on the loo because he can't pass a painful poo. Finally succeeded with bribery, and me doing..... (I kid you not...) the voice of his arsehole telling him to get on with it
@ChrisHewitt I had to come to Twitter to say WOULD WATCH you guys do D&D, even though I don't understand it. I'd probably watch James's crap sound one too. Just the description of your characters was making me chuckle!
@TetchyBitch Drop off literally couldn't have gone worse, couldn't get him out of the car, had to manhandle him screaming into school 10 mins late. Not sure who cried more, me, him, or hubby in the end. Came out happy though, so tomorrow's another day...
Woke from a nightmare about spiders to find one crawling on my neck. Full blown, can't-breathe panic attack. I'll likely never sleep again.
On the plus side, I am fully distracted from first day of school, and have a socially acceptable reason for looking puffy eyed.
@myspace43971957 Thanks lovely. I hope mother-in-law is doing okay after her op today? And that wife gets a decent sleep. Turns out I probably will sleep again, I'm knackered lol.
@myspace43971957 We didn't get that far, last time I had fluid in my uterus, and this time my lining never thickened up. It's so frustrating, it's taking so long that we're at the point we just want to get it over with and move on with success or failure, but we're stuck in limbo.
Yet another cancelled FET, but this one is extra special because as I was on the cancellation call, my cousin text me a photo of the baby that has just popped out π«
Yoga has a branding issue. If instead of being told it's really hard and spiritual and for cool people, someone had told me it's exercise for lazy bastards who hate cardio, I would have started years ago.
@myspace43971957 Happy birthday, H!
Offering perspective from someone who is bad at birthdays, to me and my fam birthdays have never been a big deal and it has never bothered me if people forget/ignore mine/Kit's. But I do try to learn who it does matter to and set a reminder!
My child has just discovered @Numberblocks and it's insane to me that there's a programme addressing the concept of infinity that appeals to 3 year olds.
The writers are the greatest talents of our generation why aren't they in charge of UK education, they're wasted.
4. Do we want to transfer both embryos next time? That's the last of them. Unless we do another egg collection, which may or may not work.
Too. Many. Things.
I honestly thought this would be a 5 min call, not 55mins π€―π€―π€―π
Infertile fam! Talking out loud, need to organise my thoughts.
1. Need to see my GP to make sure I don't have sinister bowels. If not, get on the endo waiting list (2yrs ish)
Endo would mean long protocol drugs. We can just choose to do this without diagnosis.
2. So, do we do long protocol, or natural?
3. 3x tests mentioned.
Sticky blood clot test - covered
ERA test - not covered, debatable results
Immune test - expensive, risky, extreme
What tests do we do?
