@TheInSneider Bruh. You actually said Paramount was colluding with WB to inflate the price for someone else to buy.
Totally different than saying they wouldn't get it.
@tagrubb29@NotReLatedToMJ@F13thFranchise I think it will make it easier. I just think the biggest obstacle is the fact that Warner Bros has no real urgency to make these movies because they've been grifting on the conjuring franchise for a decade. They literally don't have the slot for it in the schedule.
@NotReLatedToMJ@tagrubb29@F13thFranchise While I actually agree with this statement, I disagree with its implied point. Sean/Victor/Jason Universe are not the ones holding back a movie. Its not like they have decided no because a offer was too low.Theyll be the easiest to convince. Wheres this from?
@NotReLatedToMJ@tagrubb29@F13thFranchise Right. But if you're going to remake or use story elements that infringe on any of the first 8 movies, that's where you run into issues. That's why the sequel to the remake never happened because there was too many cooks in the kitchen.
@tagrubb29@F13thFranchise So to answer your question. Yes, it would make it a lot easier for a new movie. It would consolidate all the foreign rights into one company and presumably that means the Jason Universe side can just make a deal with a single studio. Same as they did with TV.

According to this article, Paramount might bypass WB CEO and take the offer directly to the shareholders. This deal is going to happen.
@tagrubb29@F13thFranchise I agree. I think that this is just posturing from WB trying their best to increase the offer. You can't blame them it's literally their job.
I think this is happening and I read it could even happen as quickly as less than 6 months from offer to close.
@RBurns714@deadmeatjames His kill count is why you'll never watch and buy that movie or any others he covers.
That's the argument from the Director obviously.
@F13thFranchise It blows my mind they continue to shill this weirdo bloody mary version of Jason.
It's like they're telling us they can't use anything that could be confused with the real Jason.
They aren't reading the room very well.
@F13thFranchise This would eliminate one of the F13 players off the board, consolidating it into one company. That would probably help things on the movie side, eventually.
@JasonPThe13th That would of been your call but I personally wouldn't of given up my all hard work to be their employee. Either way. It all works out the way it's supposed to.
