@Decayingversion Still, I don’t think it felt as rushed or unpolished as you describe it. The highs felt really high and the lows are likable/passable. For me it felt very fresh and elegant in its own way
@Decayingversion I do think your critique is valid, especially when it points to some of the more generic songs, and I agree that the lyricism feels a little underwhelming compared to her previous work. That said, for me it felt like a vibey-er and more classy version of what I loved from sns
@mazzypopstar On the other hand, Selena’s acting is nowhere near groundbreaking and ridiculous in some scenes. She herself has even stated that she wishes that she could’ve done a better job with her spanish and I think we can ALL agree on that.
@mazzypopstar You think you’re so deep and alternative pls😭, Emilia Peréz, though not a bad movie is full of stereotypes of Mexican culture (which wbk u are not part of) + the director of the movie didn’t even bother to fully investigate on the matter.
