The International Boxing Association (IBA) has announced significant organizational changes to its Lausanne based Head Office, including the departure of Mr George Yerolimpos from his position as Secretary General and CEO. The IBA extends its appreciation to Mr Yerolimpos for his dedication and tireless efforts during his tenure and wishes him all the best in his future endeavors.

‘IBA is going through transformational times, and it is a great responsibility and honor for me to take on the position to invest in the boxing family with my time, experience, passion, and know-how. The American Boxing Confederation's (AMBC) Continental Forum is being held in Brasilia, Brazil.

Umar Kremlev, the President of the International Boxing Association (IBA), is attending the event to address National Federations and engage in interactive sessions with members. The forum aims to unite National Federations of the American continents, provide them with updates from the IBA, and support their ideas for the development of boxing in their respective countries.

President Kremlev emphasized the importance of direct communication with member National Federations and pledged continued support for grassroots boxers. The AMBC President, Jose Laureano, expressed the continent's enthusiasm for unity and preparation for the upcoming AMBC American Boxing Championships in Cali, Colombia. The forum serves as an opportunity to discuss pressing issues before the championships.

President Kremlev also met with Juliana Picoli Agatte, Executive Secretary of the Brazilian Ministry of Sport to discuss boxing's position in the country and plans for future competitions. He expressed his commitment to supporting the development of boxing in Brazil, highlighting the strength of the national team and the potential for boxing to become one of the country's main sports.

IBA President started his official visit to Brazil by training session with national Brazilian and Venezuelan teams 🇧🇷 🇻🇪

All the boxers came to camps in São Paulo to train before upcoming competitions.

Following the tradition President presented boxing equipment to the athletes.
