Thank God it is Jumu'ah. Nigeria is the largest IslamoChristian nation on Earth. If we get peaceful religious coexistence right, our country will enjoy unity, stability and prosperity as well as be an example to the world of how to manage diversity. That is why I urge you to learn about your neighbour's faith. When we understand each other, we will stand together, and Nigeria will stand in order.
My name is Reno Omokri, and I love Islam and the Muslim Ummah, and can't wait for the sighting of the crescent moon so I can fast with the believers during the holy month of Ramadan.
Jumu'ah Mubarak, and may Almighty God bless your Salatul-Jumu'ah.
There is no right time to ask a man you are not married to for money. Instead of opening your legs for him as a justification for your expectation of money, the right thing to do is to open a business and rake in cash. Your sexual organs are not a small-scale business. By willingly surrendering it to a man who is not your husband, you create a fornicator, not a financier. The only right time and man to ask for money is from your father when you live under his roof. Wake up and work for your money.

🇺🇸 TRUMP REVIVES “TASK FORCE 250” FOR AMERICA’S 250TH BIRTHDAY BASH
Trump is signing an executive order to create Task Force 250, a White House team planning a massive celebration for America’s 250th Independence Day on July 4.
The goal? Unite Americans around their history.
The order also brings back Trump’s National Garden of American Heroes, a park featuring 250 statues of historical figures.
Plus, it reinstates protections for U.S. monuments after past attacks on statues of presidents and Founding Fathers.
Modeled after the 1976 Bicentennial, the event will focus on patriotism, national renewal, and celebrating America’s founding ideals.
Trump first proposed this in 2017, and now, he’s making sure America gets the birthday party it deserves.
Get ready for fireworks.

This New Year marks the beginning of a momentous era, one of heightened public awareness and vigilance. It is a time when every Nigerian must closely observe the actions and decisions of our political leaders. As we welcome the dawn of 2025, I see an invaluable opportunity to reshape and redefine our national dialogue. I urge all Nigerians to actively participate in safeguarding the principles of democracy.
I call on every citizen to remain resolute in holding political leaders, at every level of government, accountable. We must ensure that no one wields unchecked power that could erode our liberties or exploit public office for personal gain.
Reflecting on the challenges of the past year, I recognize that 2024 provided a sobering glimpse into the pressing need for governmental accountability. I am profoundly grateful to the Almighty for granting us the grace to witness another year, despite the arduous trials we have faced.
The trials of the past year have only served to fortify our faith. Our unshakable belief in divine protection has been our guiding light, and it is this same spirit of unwavering faith that will continue to propel us forward in the coming year.
As we step into this New Year, I implore all Nigerians to nurture our shared hopes of collective prosperity. The vigilance of the citizenry is paramount in ensuring that those in leadership never abuse the power entrusted to them. Together, we must firmly restrain any attempts by an overreaching government to encroach on the public good or our fundamental rights.
“Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty,” and it is in this spirit that I urge us all to remain ever watchful in guarding against any threat to our democracy. Let us hold firm to our resolve to protect the principles that unite us and to resist any efforts to divide us along religious or ethnic lines.
It is my fervent prayer that 2025 will usher in a fresh dawn, sweeping away the years of national hardships that have hindered our country’s growth. I particularly pray for a revitalization of our national economy so that we may breathe freely once more, liberated from the suffocating grip of economic hardship.
As we celebrate the divine favor that allows us to witness this New Year, let us not forget our fellow Nigerians who were not so fortunate—those whose lives were claimed by the relentless storms of daily hardships. Their struggles remind us of the urgent work that lies ahead.
With hope in my heart and faith in our collective strength, I wish you all a prosperous New Year filled with boundless blessings and success in all our endeavors. Together, let us build a safer, stronger, and more unified nation. -AA
What happened to you as a child is not an excuse for your failure as an adult. We have repeatedly seen people with traumatic and dysfunctional childhoods emerging as the most successful individuals in their fields. Jeff Bezos was born to a single teenage mother who could not afford to feed him. Today, he is feeding 1.6 million employees at Amazon. Look, buddy, it is called your background. But it does not have to put your back on the ground. Free yourself from your past. Victory comes from attaching yourself to your potential, rather than your history.

Yes, there is clinical depression. Which is rare. Most depression is caused not by your life, but by your thoughts about your life. Therefore, to heal that type of depression, you don't really have to change your life. What you need to do is change your thoughts about your life and your life will gradually improve. Humans are thought beings. Our lives follow our dominant thoughts. If you can discipline yourself to have positive thoughts, no devil in hell can stop you from having a positive life. Reinvent yourself by restructuring your thinking process.

Dear Tsepo,
Thank you for your feedback. Northerners are Boko Haram people? Really? That means you eat Boko Haram food, because 65% of the food you consume in Northern Nigeria comes from those you term 'Boko Haram' people. Please fact-check me.
Nasir el-Rufai and I have disagreements. But if you guys think that that issue will affect my love for Arewa, you can keep dreaming.
Thanks again, and may God spare your life into 2025 to witness the continued love I have for Arewa. May God bless Arewa and may they and their Southern allies be in power in Nigeria for perpetuity.

Michael Jackson earned $600 million in 2024 alone and has made over $3.3 billion since he died in 2009. Please fact-check me. Moral of the Story: Make a name that makes money for you when you are alive, and for your children and their lineage after you die. And that can only happen if you use your life and talents to achieve something the world cannot ignore.
Wishing you and your family a happy New Year 2025 in advance.

When you do not know what herbs look like, you call them vegetables. And when you do not have confidence, you see it in others and call it arrogance. That is why many people see self love in others as selfishness. They are not aware that it is possible and even desirable to love themselves. Because they hate themselves, they see you as proud when you love yourself. Don't stop loving yourself just to make people who hate themselves happy.

Don't underestimate the big impact your Nigerian traditional attires make on Nigeria. And on you. Here in Botswana, they are not even shy about staring at my outfit. Then, as soon as they find out I am Nigerian, some of them start chanting, 'Up Nigeria, Up Nigeria!' Listen, guys, there is no better brand for you than Nigeria. Embrace Nigeria, and Nigeria will raise you, too!
When you wake up, resist the urge to think about the past. If you do that, your brain will automatically go to all your negative existences, and the recollection will trigger negativity in you. Try this instead. Wake up and immediately start thinking about what you want to achieve. Focus your mind on your dreams for that day and the future. By doing this, you are training your brain and mind to feed your consciousness ideas rather than regrets. If you think about your past, you will reject it. If you think of your dreams, you will achieve them. Simple as ABC!
