So this happened around 1 AM last night.
I was half asleep in a completely dark room when I heard a weird banging sound right beside me.
A sound I'd never heard before.
It happened again 15 minutes later.
BANG.
Louder this time.
Now I'm fully awake, trying to figure out what it is.
Animal?
Intruder?
Something paranormal?
I turned on the lights and couldn't find anything. I was still a bit scared, but after convincing myself it was probably nothing, I tried to go back to sleep.
Then the sound came back.
BANG.
Right beside me.
At this point I was genuinely scared.
This time I watched carefully and finally found the culprit:
A frozen water bottle I'd brought from the freezer.
The ice inside was melting, shifting, and making that sound.
So yeah, never sleep with a frozen water bottle beside you unless you want a free horror experience at 1 AM. ๐ญ
