@pk_kenzie All those sound great, but I dont understand animated movies getting vfx nominations. Like genuine question, what constitutes vfx in an animated movie? Assuming most vfx is cgi, how does it differ from the regular animated stuff, which is also usually computer generated nowadays?

Also I just googled the difference and it said sci-fi is theoretically possible and fantasy isnt, so the existence of the force aka magic, something that doesn't work with our laws of physics, makes it fantasy to me

Also, their vfx the past few years has been getting worse, I wouldn't be surprised if the reason is because the houses that ARE properly staffed are only so because they hire less experienced people. The pros are quitting and/or refusing to work on marvel
