With Men's Mental Health Month 3 days away I feel it's partially my duty as a leading male in this scene to speak about the stigma. I often suffer from PTSD, depression, anxiety and I believe I have CTE (which causes me to have these anger outbursts and blackout and forget things that I've done the day before or even just hours ago oftentimes). 80% of all suicide in the United States is caused by men. Men are four times more likely to commit suicide than women.
I have told my wife two or three times in the past few months that I've often contemplated eating a bullet if you know what I mean. With depression, anxiety, and the feeling as if the weight of the world is on my shoulders at times, I find it hard to handle at times. As a man, I feel as if I should just take it on the chin and "man up". I find it very rough at times being the provider and I feel like I need to do this on my own when I know that's not the case but it's just what goes on in my head because of all the things that I suffer from (mainly CTE IMHO). As well as I often feel like I'm unable or unwilling to speak out about my feelings because I'm a very closed of person as some of you may know.
I say this because if you have a friend, dad, brother, boyfriend, husband, please check in with them daily. If not weekly. 9 times out of 10 we are super grateful for just even a " how are you? Are you okay?"
And fellas believe me I say this as a "Alpha" a leader and A friend.... IT'S OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY!!! .... Please if you are struggling reach out to me, someone in the SCENE, or seek HELP. Just know you are not alone. Most of us men are in this battle together and you are loved by so many. Don't ever give up hope. THE SUN WILL RISE tomorrow. Just give it a chance.
ALL LOVE, MAC!
@doxntme If the population got to strategize, and we agreed on an “all blue vote” I understand individuals thinking they won’t break the camels back by defecting. How many people defect?
For an “all red vote” strat, defection is just a self-imposed death-sentence.
@doxntme It is noble to put yourself in harms way to save another. The question I have is who am I saving? Assuming all participants understood the game, the only people who require protection are the ones offering to protect them.
Separately, I don’t have to worry saboteurs…
@ImSilverRose@wil_da_beast630 May we consider a game played only by adults who at a minimum understand the consequences of each button? If there are babies and children involved, I’ll just vote blue out of self-sacrifice, but that isn’t interesting. My concern is that enough jerks ruin a vote blue strategy.
@Yumnugget1@CkarasuStream@CerosTV I don’t understand how you can use the word “same” and not realize how that is not “better.” But that’s okay. Try the other way. What Red player is worse off because another player votes Red? FWIW, I would vote blue because people would do so needlessly.
@Yumnugget1@CkarasuStream@CerosTV If you want to prove it helps, construct an example where player A who voted Red is happier because player B voted Blue.
