@Skatunenetwork Hey Jer! I see that you're playing O'Malley's in Margate in April, need any openers? My Swole Ska client @ThrashPunkRacc (aka Rhythm Bastard) would love to finally meet you! ๐
@joinhitpiece Or are your founders just so painfully out of touch and have more money than common sense?
I'm sorry, not everyone desires to participate in NFTs, this isn't a case of people refusing to be early adopters. This is a case of ethics.
@joinhitpiece I still don't understand what the endgame was here. The people that run your company have industry connections, there's no way that they didn't know that this wasn't going to fly.
Was this a whole marketing gambit to get attention from labels?
@thehumanfly_ It really does feel as if the uproar was less about trying to be blatant thieves and more about marketing this as a viable option to record labels. But couldn't they just cut out the middleman and mint it themselves?
@LordAndrew@josiahhughes@joinhitpiece Exactly, how are we supposed to know you're sending any money and what percentage of profit to the artist if they had no idea they were available for sale in the first place??
@RoPanuganti @soundrop@joinhitpiece I've called and emailed to report them to their webhost (GD) and have a C&D drafted on behalf of my client @rhythmbastard. I don't know if this is the right solution or they have some twisted way to say this is fair use, but if multiple ppl do it, they'll have to address it.
